Arcane is being animated by Fortiche Production, which has also done Riot Games' (the creator of League of legends) K/DA Music videos. They have been working on this for, I think, 5 years when the characters Jinx (blue hair) and Vi (pink hair) were released. Up until now, we had no cannon confirmation they were sisters and only had a leak from one of the Riot employees mentioning they were. For some character explanation/insight, I would watch "Get Jinxed" and "Awaken" to see more about how the characters act and how they are portrayed in the game.
I think you meant "Warriors" instead of "Awaken", that's where Vi, the pink hair girl, appears. I think there's also a scene from "The Climb" cinematic that takes place in the undercity "Zaun" The cinematic "Ekko Seconds" uses a similar animation style, and that character is confirmed to be in the series (the Russian Cast leaked it) Also "Warwick: Zaun's Wrath" and "Tales of Runeterra: Piltover" also take place in Zaun/Piltover
Having played League since it came out, comparing the original Jinx release trailer 8 years ago, turn into a full on show is amazing. Having been disappointed by other franchises I liked a lot in the past few years, only makes this so much more refreshing and hyped that this looks promising. When it comes to playing the game, I wouldn't recommend it since it's such a learning curve and a massive timesink. LOL If anything I'd recommend the card game Legends of Runeterra, since it's been building the League world really well with it's card art and character interactions when playing cards.

League of Legends has one of the best worlds of lore and stories ive ever seen. Every champion you can play in the game has a fleshed out story and origin and theme. And finally, FINALLY League is starting to get into shows. You dont see the lore ingame, its all on their website if youre curious. Pages and pages of written out stories, comic books, animated videos on their youtube channel, music videos, and more. So much stuff for a MOBA lmfao.
It's about twin cities - Piltover and Zaun, and the origin story of two playable characters Vi and Jinx. There are also other playable characters present in the show. The series is gonna be 9 eps of 40 mins each so 6 hours of animation. There's also some buzz about future shows set in different areas, because this entire show is set in like one small nation-state out of an entire map.
Netflix has absolutely nothing to do with the production of this show, and thank god for that. Cause Netflix are absolutely NOT crushing it - almost everything PRODUCED by Netflix is garbage.... Thankfully Riot Games and their animation studio are doing this and refused any input by Netflix.
