I feel like with this reaction you've opened a big new portal. I think the League of Legends cinematics are absolutely worth it to react to. And there is a lot of great lore to learn about and get into that might be worth if you consider reacting to this show on here aswell. Obviously I dont know how much backstory will be presented in the show itself, but it might be worth to at least learn about the basic characters (or at least the ones that are confirmed to be featured in the show). Also, I think a more common comparison for Jinx is Harley Quinn. A little bit crazy and extremely chaotic.
Cinematics/MV and ceremonies i think are worth reactions. I stopped playing league 2+ years ago and still watch those reactions, also watched the new Pentakill concert.
@@MrCesarSG I'm the same. I'm extremely interested in the universe without having touched the game in over a year. Some of the cinematics might be some of the best animations out there imo
@@Josarifire18 not only the worlds presentations, but the Brazil opening ceremonies. There's one with Jhin that's just pure beauty, one with Pentakill Karthus ulting Arcade Ahri for hogging the stage for too long, and some big ol' Vi/Akali/Galio kaiju in the streets of Brazil fighting an oversized blue golem. They're on par with the worlds openings, if not surpassing in some instances.
The first 3 episodes are out (there's gonna be 9 eps in total, divided into "acts" of three) and I would LOVE to see you guys' reaction to them. I watched them without any prior knowledge from the games but I could still appreciate the animation, story and characterizations! It has really cool fight scenes and a lot of emotional weight I didn't expect. Definitely recommend
I hope they react to some cinematics!! I know it's a long shot, but it would be much fun to see Aaron kind of teach them about the characters through the cinematics.
I watched the first three episodes of League of Legends Arcane on Netflix on release night. I was totally blown away. The animation is superb, top-notch, hands down the best animation I have seen in a show in decades. And the storytelling. You don't have to know anything about League of Legends the game or its characters to understand what is going on in this movie. The storytelling flows seamlessly. The animation had me wide eyed in amazement. The storytelling had enough energy and excitement to have me going "Oh hell yeah" and enough depth of emotion to have me bawling like a baby. In short, this is the kind of movie that creates genres.
Vi and Jinx were storied out as rivals, and kinda hinted at being sisters but they never confirmed it. This series does and connects the dots to why Jinx goes insane.
This is the first of what is rumored to be multiple forays into the LoL cinematic universe. Riot's animations/cinematic department is (in my opinion) the best of any game developer's. This story should be solid too. Animation style and music is amazing.
They'd have to do like a big supercut of a bunch of the videos and trailers because all individual videos would be really short since the only one that really knows anything is Aaron and everyone else would just have to pick up and learn on the go, all they'd really be able to talk about is cinematography and the like. Still though, if there's one thing of all I want to see them react to, it's Fiddlesticks' rework trailer.
@@Domura I remember watching someone react to all League cinematics and he had a long list of clips and videos in order which made sense made by viewers. Similar thing could be applied here I assume. If they ever wanted to do something like that. Those videos are very good so I think they'd all like them.
With 0 spoilers to the story that the fans know is happening, all you need to know is we're focusing on 2 locations in this universe (with potentially other cameos) called Piltover (the surface), and Zaun (the underbelly).... And the universe is Sci-Fantasy. This universe has been in the works since like, 2010? maybe earlier? So any RWBY similarities could easily be inspiration from each other. But these 2 cities have been around since the beginning, and was part of original lore conflicts. Something about Zaun using bio/chemical warfare to win battles underhandedly, but that may have been re-written at this point? There was a BIG lore purge & reset half a decade or so ago, and that probably got hit by it. Its less Top good/Bottom bad, and more... parasitic relations I guess? Either way, if you guys are planning on reacting to this series, I'm gonna be *SO* hyped for that!! Seeing people's reaction to this, as people who don't know about these characters and this universe, is going to be super fun to watch.
In current lore Zaun is seen much more favorably. It's all the poor people living and working in a toxic, lawless environment, while Piltover exploits their labor to maintain an (at the first glance) utopian society. Since we see that one scene of something looking like a riot, the show will certainly touch upon that.
Ive been playing this game since Season 2, and can confirm thay didnt plan on the lore that long back. Jinx music was the 1st one we even get a better look onto some other city, there was only Journal of justice texts and stuff untill then, even splash arts were rough illustrations. RWBY's origin is older than LoL, I'm a huge fan of its creator, Monty Oum (RIP), because i was a huge fan of his fan video like Dead Fantasy, Haloid released back in 2006 before the conception of League.
Actor who is voicing Jayce in the show is Kevin Alejandro and it's funny how you couldn't place the voice even though you guys are currently watching Lucifer.
The first 3 episodes are EPIC!!! Can’t wait for the next 3 to come out already want a season 2 the world looks soo interesting!! Can’t wait to see this up on the channel
If only Hollywood adapted more franchises into animated movies/shows rather than shitty looking live actions😔 (there are good live actions out there but some just really can’t capture everything without it ending up uncanny or shit depending on who picks it up)
@@coughy6100 yea exactly. Netflix green lighted it allowing it to be animated and produced by the original animation studio. Most major film studios don’t do that and make them into ‘dark-mature’ live actions featuring big actors to cover up shitty writing (not all of them tho)
I waited 3 years for these series and I never even played the game. Jinx was my favourite character since the first cinematic I watched ugh I'm about to cry
I seriously cannot wait for you guys to get around to this series. I know next to nothing about League of Legends, but this show still hooked me in a big way. It's emotional, the story so far is phenomenal, the music is outstanding, and the animation is top tier. I am not exaggerating when I say that Arcane has the potential to seriously switch up the animation business. What Riot has done with this series is nothing short of mesmerizing. It is something else.
Y'all HAVE to watch this show.. I just finished it and it's the best animated show I have ever seen, and I don't even play the games. It's just beautiful and tragic and action-packed and just all around amazing. WATCH IT.
I was actually going to recommend that you guys watch this trailer, looks like its going to be super awesome! I've been saying for a long time now, and I think most other League fans agree, that their cinematics are literally amazing and that they need to produce some kind of short film or series, and here we are! I feel like especially for longtime fans of League, this can became almost like an MCU like thing where we all get to see our favorite champions get some love on the big screen! Really hope you guys can find the time to react to this when it releases! P.S. There are some huge name voice actors in this, including none other than Haylie Steinfeld as Vi. You may know her as Kate Bishop in the upcoming Hawkeye series and the voice of Gwen Stacy in Into the Spider Verse!
Truth though I still love the game for the lore and throught it The toxicity is just one of the things I contribute to there being things like the Void in the world of Runeterra
They're definitely gonna react to this, their Patreon supporters will definitely vote for this. We just gotta wait for a slot in their schedule to be open.
I've only played a bit of League, not really my type of game but I REALLY like the lore of the game and have been reading it for nearly a year now. I've been awaiting for the franchise to be expaned into more game genres and even shows or movies and it seems to finally be happening, I hope it introduces a much wider audience to the really cool world of Runeterra.
The first 2 episodes were amazing. But it's all about the 3rd one. I can't remember, when was the last time I cried watching a show, but watching episode 3 I cried like a child. Was a series!
I got to watch the first few episodes of this in a focus group study a while ago, and even though I know nothing about LoL, it definitely seems pretty interesting and fun. The animation style is neat as well.
You guys should watch more league cinematics. I thoroughly enjoy league lore. It's all very well written. I honestly enjoy the lore more than the game.
Urgot could have a cameo. Lissandra won't at all since she is from the Freljord and she is part of the True Ice faction so she is pretty much staying there holding back the void or whatever. Miss Fortune has no business being in Piltover or Zaun at that time as she is still a young pirate lady or just a simple Bilgewater citizen. And Fiddlesticks also has no business being there since it kind of makes no relevance to the Vi-Jinx/Piltover-Zaun relationship. Characters that actually could show up are Singed, Twitch, Warwick (human form), Camille, Viktor, Seraphine (young), Ezreal (young), Blitzcrank, Orianna, Dr. Mundo (young?), Jhin, Ekko and maybe some random Yordles (maybe Ziggs?). So still a lot to look forward to :D
Omg! As a league player since 2010 I lowekey cruy of happiness that after all those years they finally done it! Haha the fan base has been asking for this kind of show for league... May it be Anime, movie or just series. Thanks for reacting to this! Please react to their cinematic trailers! Their lore are amazing! 💯
Jinx and Vi are the main characters of the show, but there are going to be other League champs involved in the series. For example, we could see a young Jayce (the man who presented a way to harness magic) and Heimerdinger (the mustached, yellow yordle). Other champs that're confirmed to be in the series are Caitlyn, Warwick and a young Viktor. Also, many members of the community suggest that Riot will make Arcane into an opportunity to show a new champ that'll be coming to the game (which could be the owl masked-ish man).
Im glad one of em knows some of the characters Actully this series only covers one of the huge part of leagues lore This is one js set on of the region named Piltover and Zaun, its like a scientific, modern while steampunk aesthetic, thats piltover, zaun is under dog(i think is what its called) place, where the poor people resides, full of pollution and illegal activities, dangerous and hard to lice it, The graves guy that his talking about lives in another region called Bilgewater,in all of the region, bilgewater has the littlest existance, but its still huge,it also need a series of its own and specific problem within in and charcters like in arcane to tell a story too, hope u guys watch it,the leagues lore are humongous, and each region is so huge, big as this series and there... 12 regions in leagues lore, and all kf the characters live among em Wait ill list it out Freljord Demacia Noxus Piltover & Zaun (this i where the story of arcane exist) Shurima Ixtal( nevermind, bilgewater isnt the littlest, its this) Targon The void(Icathia) Bilgewater Ionia And The Shadow Isles(ones Blessed Isles) Oh yeah Bandle City(this is where the yordles live and originated)
