Ready yourselves, friends. Season 2 of Arcane is now in production. Where’s a hexgate when you need one? Watch Arcane on Netflix: www.netflix.com/title/81435684 #Arcane
@@DainnGreywall It isnt my man, his hunting music is part of his W ability, his theme is the music he had in his login screen, they are not the same, they are different.
Right? That's how I feel. I want season 2 now to see what happens, but at the same time, I want them to take their time because rushing it could lead to bad writing or animation, possibly both. So I hope they make sure to take it slow and really consider all their options before releasing, like it seems they did in season 1.
@@maggieo1683 The writers said they've always known season 2 was gonna happen, they've probably been working on it for ages by now, they're not rushing it
Caitlyn sounds resigned, Vi sounds desperate and on the verge of tears, and Jinx’s sounds like she’s even more broken then before. I love that they are taking their time on all of this, and I’m so happy they have such amazing voice actors!!
I've only just found arcane now in 2023 & i'm crying tears of joy! It may just be the greatest thing i have ever watched. Everyone that worked on this show from the writters, music directors, voice actors & especially the animators i bloody salute you! This show is complete & utter genius! I simply can not wait for season 2.
@Neo's danger Oh really? Oh well, i trust the creators to take the time they need to get it right. I'd rather wait for another gem like season 1 than they rush it out & leave us underwhelmed. You can’t rush great art eh.
I feel the same way. Without a doubt, 'Arcane' is one of the best animations I've watched so far, if not the best. There's no trash talk or nonsense, just a heartfelt story that hits straight to the core.
It took them 6 years to create season 1, small budget was one of the reasons. After such a success, I hope that the process of production will be much faster, without loss of quality.
@@jorgealberto8544 there's 2 different sequences, one where she says "I'm Glad it's You" then it's a different take when she says "It Had To Be You" so she could be double referencing both, Glad it's you for Caitlin since I she would happily fight here and then "it had to be you" referring to Violet since she's be more reluctant to fight her It's a classic misdirect by Riot, they will choose 1 scenario not both
I think I never been obsessed with a show like arcane before. In the span of 2 months I've watched season 1 5 times, it's just so good and left me wanting more. Really really looking forward to season 2.
@@DrSmallarms gotta say, I like Arcane more because it was Arcane, but Invisible is also really freaking amazing. So I would love to have been in that deal.
Things I'm hoping to see in Season 2 besides Jinx and Vi's development: - Singed's creation of Warwick. - Viktor's Glorious Evolution - Blitzcrank's birth. - Conflict between Viktor and Jayce.
Yeah I tried playing lol but it wasn't really my cup of tea, I also found quite some toxicity so I thought I wouldn't be playing it anymore but I gave the series a chance and it is awesome, also the songs and video clips have always been a bop
Vi and Jinx sound so hurt in this. Vi sounds like she's holding back tears. And Jinx sounds like she's in so much hurt and pain. Their voice actors are really good.
@@angelchakku5807 Whom who has seen the show doesn't. It's truly fantastic. Makes you want to immerse yourself into the lore of the game. I'll stick to the show tho.
Its literally 100% on rotten tomatoes. If they top that then It’ll be the best season of a show ever created. Rotten tomatoes will have to update their scale.
The fact that they didn’t give a hard release date makes me a bit more confident they’re going to take their time and make it the best that it can be, but we’ll just have to hold our breathe and see I suppose
@@martenveersoo8502 nah they should just give this show a 110/100. I honestly feel bad for the 6% of audience critics as they must be blind and deaf and say they can't watch it.
Thank you!!!! Everybody in the comments is like "take all the time you need" and I'm like ,yes, but I also need season 2 so badly and simply can't wait another 3 years or so. Ugh, it's so frustrating!
If you listen carefully during the last 6 seconds, you can hear Warwick's blood hunt sound effect. I'm now really excited for season 2 as Warwick is one of my favourite characters.
Heard it too and it didn't register 'till I read this comment... I had passed it off as "LoL 'Locked in' sounder" before game, generically.. went back and it's one hundred percent Warwick's, specifically. $ .10 says Jhin enters stage left as well~
If he isn't Warwick I'll eat my foot. Vander hanging in Singed's lab. "Singed would reveal his subject's true nature - the deadly beast hidden within a 'good man'." Vander in Greek means "Good Man". Jinx hallucinating Vander with a wolf like outline. Vander being called the 'Hound of the Underground'. Warwick only being able to remember a girl screaming, maybe a name. Powder screamed Violet's name next to his corpse. Warwick taunting Vi with 'who taught you how to punch?'. And more.
"I think the fanbase can be proud of this." any actual fan that plays league wouldnt be with the trash state that league is in. cringe company spends money to make this but wont spend any to fix the damned game.
Bro this gives me the chills and it's only their voices, not even a trailer with scene parts. Amazing show in all aspects. It's definitely something else.
Coming here a year later to say. Do NOT rush with the second or any future season !!! The first was a masterpiece and we are happy to wait as long as it takes.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t. So many award shows are disappointing because of how opinion based it is, and it’s animated so it’s already at a disadvantage.
I sympathize with Jinx but she still deserves to answer to justice for what she has done. It can't be excused. Vi is undoubtedly just as traumatized if not more yet still maintains a good heart.
@@anapple3445I don’t think Vi suffered nearly as much as Jinx, having been through these experiences from that young age is way more traumatizing than it happening to an older person and that is beautifully showed by the voices she has been suffering from which is alone a freakin nightmare to live with (I have OCD and I can tell you having the slightest voice in your head drives you mad) plus kids can be brainwashed so easily at such young age which definitely happened to her being raised with those freaks.. I really feel sorry for her and really wish she can be healed but realistically that is nearly impossible ..😢
This is what I love about the series. You don't need to know the lore of the game to understand everything. Just the story alone, combined with awesome animation and excellent voice acting, will make you enjoy the series. It has something for the casual viewers and video game fans.
@@pressplayulysses Yeah I tried watching the series at first for the first 10 minutes and couldnt get past it. So I stopped watching it for about 3 weeks. After that time passed I had nothing to watch so I watched it and now I cant get enough of the show, its just awesome. Hoping season 2 is released late this year or hopefully next year in the beginning.
Riot, please take as long as you need to make another masterpiece. no rushing, no greed. just give a season 2 that is worthy to continue after season 1. and while i know season1 was in making for almost 6 years, give a tini tiny push. thank you for announcing so quickly. and thanks to everyone involved in making this love letter to the community.
It took 6 years to creat a studio from the ground up and learning how to do anything from scratch realy. S2 will take alot less time to produce as everything is already in place.
Maybe Vander as Warwick is the one who finally can connect with and drag Jinx out of "insanity". They two have something in common after all: they have both become "monsters".
Never played LoL and it seems like a lot of people are in a similar situation, but I fell in love with this series; the animation, the voices, the story line, this is astonishing work.
I played a few games when I was younger and I absolutely hate that type of game, but that doesn't really matter to watch the series. It is without a doubt one of the best animation series I've ever watched. Firstly got interested because I saw a bunch of artists saying on insta that each frame of Arcane is a work of art, and it really turned out to be true!
lol you don’t need to play the game. It’s a moba which is one of the hardest types of games to get into. If you wanna try it go for it. But if not, there’s still tons of insanely high quality cinematics, music videos and stories on their universe page that one who is interested in learning more about that world
@@chipstarshine8150 Luckily Riot Forge is making other LOL games that aren't just Mobas like the fighting game project, the Ruined King Rpg and the Nunu & Willump game
If there's one thing I ask for it's that they don't rush out the second season because of the popularity and fear of losing momentum. I know S1 took an incredibly long time to make and it absolutely shows. It's quality is not something you see everyday, there were no apparent cut corners like many animated shows suffer from because of financial but most importantly time constraints. I hope S2 is as good as it deserves to be. Take your time.
@@something3920 tbf they already have an established storyline, characters designs, etc and they’ve already started animating some scenes for season 2, as well as recorded voice lines, so i don’t think the wait will be that long.
A release of the second season in 2022 was totally unrealistic from the start. Even if far more staff is available, the perfect symbiosis of story, graphics and music takes a lot of time. If you look at the history of the first season in the context that far fewer people worked on it, it would be a slap in the face to just throw out the second season within 12 months. The show would fare like most sequel projects, it would be a mere imitation of the perfection of the first season's masterpiece. What most people liked so much, apart from the insanely great portrayal of Jinx, Vi and Co, was the passion of the makers that can be felt in every scene. I wish the same for season two and beyond.
Lol, season two should have been released a long time ago considering the production of season 2 started before the release of the first.... this is just ridiculous, worlds slowest producers.... we are talking a little over 2 hours of screen time for an entire season, shouldt take that long...
@@Trolden01 2 hours is 3 episodes. The season is about 6 hours.... Also most shows stopped production entirely during COVID. I think riot is doing fine.
@@Trolden01 try and write a story, animate, render, rectification, improvements. I believe quality over quantity. If u want something less than that, there is plenty of that to go around.
@@wayouteast1957 but like jinx saying that I don't want nobody gets hurt and then vi says I'm glade that ur back I'm soo hype omfg I'm into jinx like forever
Watch a whole bunch of other games do the same thing since league was successful. Overwatch community has been asking for a show for ages now too but blizzard is booty
@@kaisasong1332 it could be good if they focused on just a few characters and like the world but if they would try to add every character it would ruin it! I liked this series because they added a few characters of league
A series about a moba game has no business being this good. I was skeptical at all the praise it was getting, then I watched it and wow. Speechless. The characters where fleshed out completely and actually seemed like real people, they make mistakes and aren’t perfect or all powerful. Can’t wait to see where this series goes.
@@ivanbicok8294 even more of a spoiler, my friend said in episode 7 he saw Vander in a tank in singed's lab. there was a lot of theories that Vander is warwick
Can you guys stop saying "spoiler" it's neither spoiler nor theory it's literally confirmed he is Warwick, we don't need riot to come and say "Hey he is Warwick" because they're expecting that we read his lore, and if we read it everything is the same as what happened in arcane except the only empty part (ww's past) was fulfilled with eps 1-3. It is Warwick.
They were already in production for it . Most animated shows get pre green lit for a season 2 because animation takes so long. The performance of season 1 determines more seasons after 2.
@@BurntPie I had no idea how much lore was in league of legends. I wouldnt be suprised if season 2 is an enitre new story which focuses on different characters from the game. I almost dont want them to answer everything from season 1. Feel like that would take away from it
@@cartman55655 I'm pretty sure arcane is just this story but it sounds like they want to do other shows about the world . I could see demacia or the freijord next.
Honestly cannot wait for this. Arcane is an amazing show, and goes well into the characters stories. I hope you keep this show going and make this the best season yet!
@@vasikanpoikanen Those animation are realistic. They just fit in the overall Character Design and the Show's Stylization. If that's something you have an issue with...
@@vasikanpoikanen Tbh on my second time watching, I did notice the mouth animation looks weird at times, but not nearly enough to put me off watching it entirely. That would just be shooting myself in the foot.
@@sylvanechoes I agree, would be stupid not to watch because of that, the show is really good. But can't lie, it did bother me at the start and I instantly noticed it. Hopefully they release season 2 soon!
I’ve haven’t played a minute of League of Legends in my life, but this series totally hooked me. It’s legit one of the most beautifully crafted pieces of media I’ve seen in my life, but it’s so much more than “cool looking”. You’ll get sucked in by the animation, but you’ll stay for the story. Can’t wait for s2!!!
Can't believe I'm saying this, but Arcane just might be the best animated show ever. In 9 episodes they've built a universe, established back stories, explored internal conflicts on all sides, brought tears to my eyes, made me chuckle and entertained me with beautiful choreographed fights and animation. Most anime took hundreds of episodes to do what Arcane has managed with only nine. I can't imagine how hard it was to write a story where absolutely all the characters and motives make sense...like seriously, I could truly empathize with even the secondary characters. At first I thought it was the high of just seeing it,maybe it is..but I swear I can't think of any cartoon or anime that has ever made me feel such random ranges of emotion & pondering within such a small time. Name one!!!
110%! I cried so hard even after end credits, just because it ended. I've never seen such perfectly delivered show with so much artistic details. It's truly addicting, I'm still rewatching every episode and rewinding back to single lines, sounds and screenshots. No words are good enough to describe. Thank you to all creators, Arcane is truly a beauty like no other 💖
As a frequent Dungeons and Dragons player I can attest that doing exactly what OP described is REALLY difficult! What it takes is an EXCELLENT storyteller. I've had Dungeon Masters that has me grasping for more, just within the first session of playing (home brew-stories). Some have a gift of sharing just enough of the picture to have your mind completely fill out the rest, and some show us a complete canvas and we still cant see what it is. I dont find it comparable to anime, even though it is a "cartoon". I felt like I watched a series of 40 mins cinematics of LoL, but instead of me playing out the content ingame, the cinematics showed the gameplay. Like the battle scene down at the shimmer-production site. When Jayce held his hammar I visualized the combat as how it would have been in a 3rd person gameplay. I could actually see myself playing the character. When the characters are charging their powers and using thier utilities/ultimates - gosh, I was amazed. I give this series a 10/10 recommendation to any gaming nerd. This series, if you like high fantasy and high magic content, is just right! I WISH they would have done this with Warcraft (even though I do like that movie) and I would have loved to have the same screen writer/script writer for adaptions of Legend of Zelda, Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age.
You should watch Berserk of 1997 too. It's materpiece too even if it's an old anime. It's the best anime show in my opinion. The old one. Don't watch the new ones. They're the worst.
Arcane is a masterpiece, the art style, storytelling, visuals, everything was top notch, one of my all time favorite shows, hard to believe it’s been 2 years, so excited for season 2👏👏👏👏 The soundtrack was incredible 🎶🎧😊
@@grymns i have faith that since Riot Games has other "money grabbing products" there might not be a real neez to rush Arcane. Let's just hope Netflix feels the same way
Glad they said "in production" instead of giving a date, they're gonna take as long as they need to make it just as perfect as the first season, and it'll be epic
It's probably already done... You have to remember this was planned for many years. They've had this entire thing planned forever. This is no surprise to them or us. This is very effective at building hype.
@@4547466 I don't think it's fully done but very close, otherwise we'll be waiting 6 years for every season or close to that because that's how long season 1 took.
@@4547466 Who knows, they already discarded 2022, if it was already finished, they didn't need more time. Reason why it took so long for them to make this, it was because, they had to retcon the lore, plus, it was their 1st project into making an animated series in all aspects, in other others, something completely new for them, you need to work into adapting it in another format, too.
@@nebulafrozen7458 It was planned to be released in 2020 about the same time it did in 2020, but, it had to be delayed for obvious reasons that are still a problem nowadays.
Yeah and Arcane is one TINY part of the League world. There is a whole 'asian' type society, there is a pirate kind of ocean and island themed society and there is a really brutal war like society where Meg's mom is from.
You should go read the different stories for LOL lore. Piltover and Zaun is only one small part of League lore. It’s such a massive world with lots of stories and comics exploring the lore, but don’t play the game if you like the lore. The game itself doesn’t really lend itself to the lore outside of voice lines and interactions. Also one thing to keep in mind is that Arcane is not canon to the current Piltover and Zaun lore, likely Riot will probably try to integrate it into canon now but just a heads up.
i know a lot about lol and there is no difference in playing the game and not as most of the games “canon” is incomplete and doesn’t really line up with the show
@@Swolsuke would you say arcane is exaggerated in comparison to LoL. I know there are many champions with there own story. This show is so good that im wondering if i should play it 😂.
Riot really knew we were all gonna have post-ending depression and prepared this before hand to release after most people had finished watching the last episodes
I just finished season 1 and I am speechless. Not even exaggerating this can be the best project I have ever seen. And I am the person who’s completely unfamiliar with LoL. Whoever responsible for season 2, for the love of god do not hurry 🙏
I have been waiting for a while as I started watching the show since it released but season 2 should come out sometime soon this year. Netflix confirmed they began production in 2021 November.
@@xxonaa It probably won't be this year, but sometime early or mid-next year is very likely. Production on season 2 started long before the release of season 1.
@@hihowareya115 Production didn’t begin for season 2 long ago? It started in November 2021 they also even confirmed themselves that season 2 wouldn’t take as long as season 1
The Warwick howl and his "chase music" at the end provided me with unspeakable amounts of hype. I can't wait to see how his destiny unfolds/intertwines with Jinx/VI.
Man I envy people in the far future able to binge watch this whole series without having to wait. Though, big up to the team who created this wonderful show! Hopefully season 2 will be even greater than season 1
But think about like this. They will never be hyped up as much as us for season 2 trailers and teasers. So thats a win for us right ? RIGHT??? (I need more rito pls)
Spoilers for whoever is reading this but... Correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't dead Vander the body Singed is working on that creates Warwick? That's what I remember from Warwick's update.
@@sericsson1996 arcane ending had us looking back at the characters one last time before jinx's ult hit the councilors which included a scene where singed looks up at a body hanging and mutated, which is likely vander since warwick's bio matched it and he has quotes against jinx and vi too so yeah.
Theory after rewatching Ekko and Jinx’s fight scene; maybe Ekko is the one who she’s talking to?! “It had to be you” makes sense with it being Ekko as he was the only one who could really take her out.
It's almost certainly Warwick. If it were Ekko her voice would probably sound angrier and more betrayed. In the clip it sounds more like her deserved end has come. You know she still carries guilt for what happened that day. If Warwick came to kill her I don't think she'd even resist.
Words cannot express it. Every character, every act, everything about this is so well written. A series about a game where you don't have to actually play it to unserstand everything. This is a masterpiece.
@@MrCheezybread having played the game u get to recognise the characters as people you've seen before and it's cool but that's about it. Watching the show by itself is completely fine
