ArcGIS Pro Tutorial - Splitting and Merging Polygons 

In this video, you will learn how to split and merge polygons using ArcGIS Pro.
Splitting polygons involves dividing a single polygon into multiple smaller polygons. This can be useful when a larger polygon represents multiple distinct areas or when you need to create new boundaries within an existing polygon. To split a polygon in ArcGIS Pro, you can use the editing tools provided by the software. These tools allow you to draw a line or use an existing line feature to cut the polygon, resulting in two or more separate polygons.
On the other hand, merging polygons combines multiple adjacent or overlapping polygons into a single polygon. This operation is valuable when you want to simplify the representation of features or when you need to aggregate data associated with those polygons. In ArcGIS Pro, you can merge polygons by selecting the polygons you want to combine and using the merge tool. The software will create a new polygon that encompasses the combined area of the selected features.
