I have been listening to Arch Enemy since the start and to be honest although i love Angela on vocal duties this had to be 1 of my favourite tracks hands down. If clean vocals were never used by Alissa in Arch Enemy it would be a travisty. Her vocal range is amazing and it would be a waste of her talent if she didnt bring her angelic clean vocal to the table

Definitifly a masterpiece! I love the eye-catcher Alissa with her growl or (beautiful) clean or soft voice. Her stage presence is simply magically and incredibly! It is not the 1st time for Arch Enemy. Listen to the song "Reason to Believe" on album WILL TO POWER with clean voice. I think it was a long overdue step, use the full potential of her voice. Btw. who designs her fuckin' outfits? And the other guys? Guitars? Bass? Drums? Really perfect and amazing. A lot of ideas that makes me addicted eg. solos, the bridge ... This song blows my mind away!

Thank you very much, Johnny! As a die hard AE-fan I have to say that you couldn't be more wrong; this is new song, new era and at least I like this band and will support them. After all they have stepped a step back towards more classic metal sound, with their own twist of course and still making something new and fresh. And this is only song with clean/harsh vocals mix from the upcoming album so far. Love this! Answer: I believe they won't back up anymore. They will continue developing their style and like Michael says "use all of the weapons" they have when ever those tricks supports the song itself

It’s a smart move , they had to prove Alissa was a beast after Angela . Now with little more cleans will open up to a new audience. Also a band needs to grow to stay strong

Loved the intro, "OBEY" and the solos at the end. Heck even the Memento Mori part of the bridge was cool! Really good song. Instrumentally 10/10.

Looked and sounded like Maiden and Priest 1983 with an Arch Enemy twist. Banger!! Total 80's throwback. They'd be wise to use More Loomis and Alissa's full range. While songs like Deceiver Deceiver stay true to their sound, nothing wrong with using great musicians to their fullest potential. Thanks for the reaction.

This song flows with waves of chaos and harmony changing each other not only in music but also in vocals altogether and the same pattern reappears on a bigger scale, and also the same way it flows from speed/power metal to death metal and back with again the same pattern reappearing as symphonic and metal waves which is also emphasized with the same vocal pattern. This is song is composed like a fuckin fractal Russian doll. The complexity, the melody, the emotions, the power - everything is here. This is smth on the Nightwish scale. It's a masterpiece. AE made a huge evolution step up with this whole album. I'm happy to see my guys getting out of the single genre chinese trap. It was too small for them for awhile already.

I think you may have sold Arch Enemy's fans a bit short on not liking Alissa's clean vocals. You would be surprised at how diverse the interests are of metal fans in general, much less Death Metal fans. Metal is Metal, my brother. If anything, I think Arch Enemy's songs should do more of their choruses in clean vocals. Breaking up the monotony in music has always been Metal's advantage over other "softer" genres. So when you can mix harsh Death Metal vocals with clean, and even angelic vocals from the same vocalist, then that's about as cool as it gets. That just shows how much more versatile Metal singers are to their Pop singer competitors.

Klar werden jetzt gewisse Leute jammern und heulen. Aber die gehen wahrscheinlich auch zum Lachen in den Keller. Ich persönlich finde den Song absolut 🔨! Aber wieviele haben schon beim Ausstieg von Angela die beleidigte Leberwurst gespielt und Alissa keine Chance gegeben und das gerade im Metal, einem Musikbereich den ich eigentlich als sehr tolerant empfinde und so gar nichts vom Schubladendenken halte. 🤘🤘🤘 Also einfach mal wirken lassen.

I think they drop a song something like this for introduce people does not know them. Cause you know there is too many new bands out there like jinjer or agonist or spiritbox etc. And that bands are so much into this style and even 5 years old bands have more listeners then arch enemy. Old school arch enemy fans were Okay with war eternal or will to power album. Cause that albums had a arch enemy soul deepinside but this? This is to much for older fans and also very good for new fans. Especially this song was heart breaking for me. Cause I really don't like the path they are going into. And yes they will be more into something like this

spot on that hardcore arch enemy doesnt like it. since angela left the band just died for me. When u talking in the dana dan bloody wood. When song is real or fake. for me alissa was always fake. since her own band
