Pretty much as with all bands who replace their leads or even a guitarist etc...people will never be satisfied. They get hungover and refuse to open their minds to new things or even refuse to stay and listen to the version they like without hating and commenting on the version which doesn't tickle their fancy. I for one discovered AE first with Alissa and even though Angela sound good too I prefer the newer combo more. I say if you really like the band/artist...be happy that they're still doing well on their own or in a separate formation. . But again...some people just can't help themselves and have to bitch but since it's a free world...free web...it's their right. Anyways...those are my 2 cents :)
I THINK I CAN ADD ARCH ENEMY TO MY MOUNT RUSHMORE OF FAVORITE BANDS. As an old school hard rocker I normally don't groove the scream type vocals BUT THIS REALLY WORKS. The music is just everything metal is all about, the musicianship is awesome and high level. The stage presence and setting outstanding. The songs all blockbusters. And this babe doing the vocals is outstanding. IS THIS THE WONDER WOMAN OF METAL? tHE WHOLE BAND AND THE WHOLE THING un freakin believeable.I dont care what rock mindset you come from old school Sabbath/Deep Purple or Marilyn Manson/Gorgoroth or tech profficient Yngvie/Steve Vai or a steel edged Iron Maide/Priest/ Accept everyone can find something in this band. BEST OF ALL THEYRE COMING TO MY TOWN DES MOINES IN OCTOBER. I'll be the first one in line.

Alyssa is doing a fine job filling in those big shoes Angela left. Angela is Angela, and Alyssa is the current singer of Archangel and the band is still kicking ass, let’s just leave it at that and appreciate their music.
When did AE fans become such disgrace? I'm not hating on Alissa but, Angela is a legend, her growl is far superior and why do people deny that without even listening to Angela's vocals?
Alissa seemed to be more about the look , while Angela was always about the performance. She never needed to dress in an extreme way in order to perform well?
