Nathalie Cohen, National Trust Archaeologist, talks about the exciting recent excavations at Smallhythe in Kent. Perhaps best known today as the former home of Victorian actress Ellen Terry and her daughter Edy Craig, during the medieval period, Smallhythe was a location for royal shipbuilding and it was also a hive of activity some 2,000 years ago.
