You're so right! They don't distract or ruin the image at all and instead add to them. Great point to make, I don't even think I really noticed how beautiful they are until you said it!

I'm sorry but the Sandalphon card looks like Fabio! 🤣 you are a lot younger than me so you may have to Google him, he was very famous in the 80's. This looks like an interesting deck, but I agree its a pity that the symbols were not touched on in the guide book.
