That is good to know. I have 13 cloaks from those chest sitting in my warehouse, no books dropped for me, but 13 isn't that big of a number for data purposes. Thanks for sharing!

It's funny cause as soon as your video went up ppl on my server put up like 1k big belly fish on AH....bought then all...was able to get 600+ blue fish (made 200+ dawn lake essence), 60 maps (5 purple, 1 heroic, rest blue), 40+ blank canvas, and 100 clubhead fungus spores. So far I got 5 books of Auroria (still have 25+ maps to go). Ship regarde scrolls go for 17g on my server. So just those alone will make me back my gold and come out with a profit. Now I just gotta work on the ayanad scraps. Since they closed library I think the only place to get them from is the library dungeon?
Damn it, now this squirrel has to get his ass onto maxxing his Fishing. Do the treasure maps increase any specific proficiency? or is it just 50 labour?
Treasure maps use Exploration Base Labor is 50. I personally don't have anybordy working on it, so I use September (my main) mostly because he has the most ports.
doing the math... sport/sea fishing is still more profitable... talking silver per labor ratio ofc... so i was thinking maybe you save up time... but then you actually dont, i mean if you go find this spots it takes time... so all in all, you waste same amount of time for less gold but at least its safer :) eh.
Salt water sports fishing is one of the most profitable things in the game. That is going ti be hard to beat. However i lost more gold than i made doing it. Alts are difficult to compete pvp with. This is at least right now, a good alternative.
No, Fishing/Mining/Economy. I have played AA since release. I understand how progression happens, and what to buy, save and invest in. That said, Mining and Fishing I just reached max with right after Christmas and I have made over 7k gold from just that in the last 3 days. Mostly mining which is what my next video will be on. As far as GS I'm not even top 100 on my server, though I have been on the list on and off. I don't PvP much so for me it isn't super important. With limited labor starting out the trick as it has always been labor, getting the most from it, and getting as much labor as possible. That means alt accounts, I have the allowed limit of accounts (3) and have used all my labor since launch fishing on one, mining on another, and progressing on the third. My alts have nothing but what they need to do what they do, the rest has been sent to my main. Which is advice I have given many times in the past. I doubt anybody in the top 100 gearscores plays a single account.
Well im always up to try new ways to make gold in archeage and this one seems very farfetched for people to actually understand... this game wont stop surprising me
