the game is very populated and I'm excited to see so many new players in archeage. I haven't touched this game seriously since Trion's first launch but what made me upset when I started was the lack of INFORMATION. People are hesitant to share info in this game because it can put you ahead but that's just not how I operate. I will share anything I can to help you guys strong cause I know you'd do the same for me.
I want to ask very basic questions: 1- Which class good for very beginning to fast progress (I like archer I have been told its decent but not sure) 2- Which stat I should chase for beginning gear u show as archer ? 3- I have some property(farm-houses) which area should I settle for starter ? or does it matter ? thnx
The game has alot of guides. just the vids are old. but majority of the vids are still relevant. if its within 3 or 5 years its 100% most likely still accurate. the pure fact that its just an alt fest and it will always be 1 sided in terms of factions... Now this isnt to directly attack or hate you infact im wishing you all the best and if youre having fun then im glad you are.
3 or 5 year old info isnt really relevant to a fresh start server. I get your ideaology though. Also id say these factions are the most balanced ive seen coming from Wow, Black Gold, Aion, and Tera (alliance territory patch). While there are a few more players on westside this time; eastside has a very strong core. We go back and forth As for the alt fest. yes; yes it is.
Just completely untrue, as a dark runner most of the combo videos are outdated because Thwart no longer applies a slow, archers have been severely nerfed since Godfrey. The lack of videos absolutely is detrimental to new players coming into the game.
yeah this is a good point. probably need to go through each of the skill trees and make relevant builds for newer players. Im still seeing people run around in dumb classes like gypsy or hybrid magic/meele. of course they're new players who dont know any better
