Will do. I have been researching how to isolate the microphone volume from the game volume. The problem is when/if i turn it up then the game background noise will get loud too. But I'll keep working on it.

OnlyOneShinobi What programs do you use for recording and editing?

I use fraps to record, and right now just use windows movie maker for editing. considering buying adobe after effects to go full ham.

OnlyOneShinobi Tomorrow I'll download fraps and see if there is a solution to your problem within the program itself, but I have to say that fraps isn't a good program there are a lot of other programs that do it better. As for a temporary solution, you can lower the game volume either through the game itself, and raise the volume of the recording itself in movie maker. Also for what you're doing, after effects isn't really needed, what after effects does is allow you to make special effects its not a video editor. What you want is adobe premiere or sony vegas.

I haven't really looked into adobe premiere or sony vegas. Isn't vegas similar to after effects? The reason i was leaning toward AE is because i like the idea of making my own intros. The one on the AA series i made during a free trial, as well as a few other intros. But i'd like to make more. In addition, AE would allow me to run two sound tracks simultaneously. So if i use audacity to record the sound as a separate file, I can upload that into AE as well as music in various scenes and tweak the sound levels individually. And I could add special effects to the video as my skill improves. But i'm basically teaching myself everything as I go. So any/all input in these matters is appreciated. I'll do some research.

LMAO.. yea i'm kinda slow at leveling. I have work + RU-vid videos to edit + Guild administration and trade runs. So... Slow and steady!
