Just don't do them daily, if you play casually you won't need that many materials anyway. I have done them for 2 weeks and stopped entirely after that, I get more than enough infusions through halcy war and arenas which is way more fun imo. Edit:still managed to hit 5k gearscore while working 40 hour weeks and not playing every day. Just a small reminder: it's a game, not a 2nd job. If it feels like that for you try switching things up, skip daily routines and have fun instead, play the game with others, spread chaos and drama (looking at you, Doom! )
@@vanlian7571 Do those people hate fun? - The hiram grind is a lazy mechanic that has no place in a sandbox MMO. It was added to meet the requests of a small (but influential) portion of the Korean player base which wanted more PvP focused progression. It almost made me quit, but I enjoy farmville at the moment.
The best thing about AAU is the freedom. Yes, you can grind ALL dailies every day. You can also choose to farm all day, or go on a fishing trip, hang out with guildies in your guild village, seek out small scale PvP, or explore for gilda and fun. There is so much to do and it might not be fulfilling as a number on your gear score, but it is fulfilling in the fun and time well spent-way. I discover something new about the game every single day, and I love that.
I kinda started playing Archage Unchained mostly because I think its loads of fun to experiment with different classes, but this video actually made me decide to stop.. The daily zerg quests are pretty much the least thing in an mmorpg I wanna do, especially on a daily basis. This video kinda confirmed that it is waaaaaaay too much of that, so actually thanks!
This video confirmed that it's not only dailyage but it's also workage... Low levels was actually fun just doing nothing and farming and fishing and meeting people, but if endgame is like this then what's the point of even playing this MMO, rather just go fishing irl

i only do west hiram dailies after i do whatever i want, this game is not a race, the problem is almost everybody wants to be the strongest asap, we my gulidmates are taking it slowly.

Then dont do it. Its something i will never understand about gamers this days. Its really weird how every single new player follow guides made by hardcore players to try and keep up with players who play 12-16 hours everyday.
tbf lvl 55 isn't even max level and hasn't been since 3.0 lvl 34 ancestral is a much more reasonable max level and the dailies are optional to a point, like for me I went hard at the dailies for a week and barely do anything now besides cr/gr and aegis/ws (which I just stand at and do nothing while watching youtube[oh heyyyyyy speaking of cr is going on in the backround as I type this.]) for honor the rest is pvp and arenas and fishing still haven't gotten through all the infusions and scrolls I got from that one week and i've been infusing as I get gold and trying for awakenings when I get the honor to uncrystalize something lol.

You can get the dawnsdrop complete set of vocation armor by doing your blue salt brotherhood quests. Dont buy white dawnsdrop gear! Also, get your green dawnsdrop gear from the vocation shop then upgrade it at a crafting bench and it will give you 7500 proficiency instead of 5000. If you are struggling with proficiency build regal workstations on your property. They grant extra proficiency along with the functional furniture items you can put in a house. A guild hq is great for this as you'll only need one per guild of everything.
A few corrections. GrimGHast, i wouldn't pronounce it like that but ok. In Crimson Rift you only get rewarded for killing the first boss, nothing from the second. In Grimghast you get from both tho. Hearty Meals can be crafted at either improved scarecrow farm or a farmers workbench both which are crafted from your 8x8 farm. Abyssal only occurs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. There also spawns small crystals you can mine on the three pylons around the Sea of Graves. A tip, if you remove decor on your fishing boat, like lanterns, boxes and the harpoon. It increases the speed of the boat since those items have weight. You can also get the dawnsdrop boots for free if you complete the bluesalt brootherhood questline where you need to craft a farm cart, you get a whole dawnsdrop set in fact. And i loved the video, keep up the good work :D

Saw it. It is great, but mostly filled with russians. ArcheRage is sheer p2w, even admins sell gold. And AAUnchained is a shitshow grind with still loads of RNG which can ruin your month or entire playthrough. The game is not meant to be.
I still don't know what the point of all that grinding was for... Was it to improve your gear score to do one of the few raids? Get the special materials to do?
I can’t believe you didn’t even explain one really good way to make money even better then I used to like fishing. Sunken ships is by far my favorite way to make money on the seas of archage. Well worth it to level your exploration to 100k so you can get the shiny packs. Please make a video on sunken ships!
Isn't that almost every video game though? Lol. Chores in games are fun, why do people like farming games? Some games have you pick up trash, and other games your saving the kingdom, usually always some chores to do. But games for me make it fun to do them 🙂 also you don't have to do the chores, lazy peon is just telling you what's optimal.

Back in the day I'm pretty sure it didnt have a single daily, from what i remember at least. It used to be absolutely great but quite frankly it's now one of the worst mmo's i've EVER played.
Thanks for the video! Very helpful! But, don't but the Dawnsdrop Boots from the auction house or waste vocation on it. You get a full set from finishing the Blue Salt quests.
you need to craft your wagon for that, which is a waste of the 250g you can sell the engine for. If you dont plan on running packs, its better to just buy your fishing boots, sell your engine and be done with it.
Also you can do the whole questline which follows on from completing your Farm cart this ends up giving you a house design, farm wagon and finishes by giving the whole dawns drop gear set
Almost accurate, pick infusions in eastern untill you've got 90+ stacked up. Then pick scrolls in eastern, as you need alot of them per try to go for glorious T4 gear. I know you're trying to keep it simple, and not get too much in-depth. Getting 1 piece (prioritize your main weapon) to t4 is quite doable at a fairly decent pace with a casual playstyle. So you'll want some red awakening scrolls ready to go. :)

@TheLazyPeon you may wish to get an editor that knows as a veteran of the game to go over your script. There are quite a number of incorrect or things you forgot to mention when going over the various end game dailies. Like abyssal attack is only available at specific days tues/thursday/saturday at a specific time. There are 3 player dungeons which. Greater palace cellar is a significantly harder to clear compare to all greater dungeons. The event thats at a specific time everyday is lusca awakening and thats specifically killing big squids. Anything that an improved 16x16 farm can make is the same as a farmer workbench. So for people who dont have the 16x16 improved farm, a normal farmer workbench works as well. Its not just only a 16x16 improved farm that can do the farmer dailies, larders and so on.
Hey Peon! Still in the midst of your video right now, but wanted to point out an error. You said that once your pet hits level 50, you can get the pet gear for 20G. That's incorrect. My pet is 52 and I went to do as you said.. I bought the gear, but I can't put it on until my pet is actually 55. Just wanted to let everyone know!
Three mistakes I casually noticed: Whalesong and Aegis are the best honor dailies there are. You should prioritize those over CR and GR. CR only gives 3 gilda stars. Both bosses are the same and you only complete the quest once per day. First ancestral is on level 1.
I got to level 33 and no further, reading those Hiram dailies makes me think I made the right decision. That many mobs every single day? Thats aids as hell, i wouldnt have time for anything else after that
I haven't done hiram dailies in the past two weeks and have reached 5k gs easily. You don't need to do them every day if you play casually. But you need to do them early on because that's the best way to get the awakening scrolls for your gear.
Word of advice. Don't skip the cargo daily. Costs 26g for the pack and another 5g for captains protection. It rewards you with 20 Onyx which can sell for about 2g each. That's 9g profit by doing nothing
I really fell in love with AA:U but I'm currently taking a break of it because I've burned out on all the dailies I had to do. If they fix that I will be back for sure but for now I've completely lost the will to play the game.

@Susuya Juuzou The video was wrong and it seems like you dont even play. Abyssal is not a daily. its 3 times a week and considered a huge endgame content spike and thing to grind for. The ships can cost over 10 thousand gold and its basicly the West Vs East dick mesuring contenst every few days. Its when the most guild coordniation and huge player oriented stuff matters. Your impacts in the normal MMO will alter the outcome of a huge naval fleet war. Thats what makes a game fun. Not just interesting mechanics that get boring once youve played them 15 times over for that one gear piece.
Dailies ruin sandbox MMOs by turning it into a linear rotation of chores. Developers need to realize this. Turn all dailies into weeklies, and this becomes a great game.
To add to lazypeon comment about no reason in staying at lvl 55. If you plan on using the rare grade exp potion from the acestral crates they only work if your lvl 55 amd not a1+. so if you want to max out the other skill trees with the exp potion than staying on lvl 55 is worth it.
It was a great game back in Beta. lol I played the unchained version as well, and I made steady 1k gold every day + whatever I got from fishing. First to make a 8x Wagon on the server, then I made a galleon for some overseas gameplay. Turns out that I didn't had anymore milestones to complete so I quit. There was no endgame, there was only daily quests which I didn't want to waste my time doing. I'm kind of sad about it. The game was great up to a certain point.
Took me 2 hours before I got bored of the game, totally overwhelmed with the amount of class variety. There are no websites that I can find that list a solid basic build with abilities to use and people just say "trial and error".
The worst thing about this is that the longer you try to find builds the more you realize there's only like 10 viable classes at most. For the amount of skill trees they have and the possible variations this really let me down.
And they have LOADS of RNG in place when you upgrade your gear to make sure you fail a lot and lose those upgrade materials from dailies so that, you can do loads more dailies just to recover.
Mhmm I'm lvl 40 atm but this is concerning me, I dont like it when a mmorppg basically makes you do something to stay relevant, will this daily quests shit show always be there
playing casually, you wont have enough resources to utilize those infusion/awakening either. so take it slow, do the dailies when you feel like it, maybe twice a week and progress at your own pace. Enjoy the game from a different perspective, like making golds through lifeskilling etc, exploring with your friends. Sure, being among the top players and shitting on lower-geared people is fun, but its agonizing to maintain that.

Sounds like alot changed since the original beta several years ago. Especially alot of weird activities that are required and make it a theme park deluxe. Good thing I didn't bought the game again...
Why do people keep calling this endgame? Getting hiram infusions and upgrading it isn't endgame, that's midgame. Early game is pre ancestral, midgame is upgrading your gear and endgame is what to do when you have close to max gear.
The dailies wouldn' be so bad if the progression didn't take so long. Even if you were to never crystalize anything and never fail an awakening, it's still super long. For a game like this, after a month everyone should be able to easily attain max gearscore, best in slot so we can all get back to doing the fun stuff - open world pvp. I hate to say it, but the people who run two or more accounts are basically paying to win by doubling (or more) their labor generation. One or more account focus on making gold and funnel it to the main account who just has to upgrade gear. The whole purpose of limiting labor is to pump the brakes on the no lifers but multiple accounts is the work around. I'm still having fun with this game but it's flaws are becoming more and more obvious.
The grind appealing to you that much? :P. Endgame sucks from what I saw but as long as its buy to play instead pay to play, I may check it out for the heck of it. Not my priority tho
well i've been looking for an mmorpg that i can get into, i tried bdo and im struggling with that tho it is fun from time to time, i mostly like this game for a lot of the roleplaying aspects, and unique classes you can build i could care less about the grind lol but it's what you get with mmorpg's like this anymore (also i really fucking love sandboxes and player housing)
Okay... So I know dailies aren't all that fun but lol they take 20 minutes in a raid and I'm just talking Hiram which is usually the main ones you want to do for gear upgrading. Then you just attend cr and GR/PvP events when they pop. Lol comment section is acting like this is the end of the world.
I work 50 hours a week i only do the dailies on weekends and fish after work cuz i like it im on the newest server jergant off and i have 4.4k gs i can kill pretty much any player so I am not sure why everyone is complaining. also I play with the aus crowd so get home at 2 am and play till like 5 am. i also have 30k fishing and a boat. will you be in the top 1% no but lets be honest you were never gonna be there anyway
The harpoon clipper can still be used to drag you out of the water and onto air balloons?. Do the dance animations still go into hyper speed if you hold sprint?
God I love archeage, and I'm so glad I found someone else that enjoys the game too. 😊 people complain about it being "daily age" but I just do what I want with my friends and I always have a good time
I actually just got this game because my guild from Guild Wars, and Guild Wars 2 switched to it, so I said fuck it, it looks great, uber excited I'm super lucky that i have 30 ms when playing, oofins
There is another upgrade to the farm cart for 2 more trade crates, and you should be able to place 2 packs in each crate due to a unique engine bug that can't be fixed. You also don't know about the secret husbandry gold mine at Polaris. hashTag winkEmoji
As far as I can tell, there's no way to get a farm wagon out of rokhala. I've seen some vids using a car to get over the mountains, but unfortunately there's no simple path out of the place that is farm wagon/cart friendly. You have to take the airship and you can only transport via donkey on that thing. That means only 1 pack at a time. =/
Mr'Krabbs Nice name, But with that name you know you gotta buy underwater real estate and Make Crab traps! I used to be a underwater farmer in Archeage man was it profitible back then not sure about now.
