Hi, thank you for the great and detailed guides, they are appreciated! :) This is my first time playing Archeage and I was most interested in Archer. I have managed to get my Archer to level 55 as both an Ebonsong and the last few levels as a Trickster. My issue is that my ping is more of an issue than I anticipated (averages between 80 and 120 and guildmates laugh at how slow my Endless Arrows fire). Would it be best for me to scrap Archer altogether and level new class skill trees or can Stone Arrow be effective at 100-ish ping? Thank you!
Stone arrow could be effective but it's much better once you're ancestral 10 for flame endless arrows as high ping archers. You should also check out my video about lowering your ping. Could maybe help!
Will you start as a stone arrow and even be one when you are grinding hiram gear? Wouldn't it be faster to drop defense tree for something that helps in PVE.
@@IllusiveMediaYT Man its hard to pick a class, haven't really played AA properly before. Ebonsong seems a bit too popular which is why i don't want to play it :(
@@kristianrasanen9623 You can always switch your class with ease. I would suggest Shadehunter or Trickster for a less "meta" archer class. They are still really good and played little less.
@@IllusiveMediaYT I've narrowed my choices down to spellsinger or ebonsong as i want to play an instant cast ranged class. I heard archers struggle early on very much, how long do you think it will take to get to the gear where archery doesn't suck as bad?
@@kristianrasanen9623 Archers are actually very good early, weak mid, strong late. And it all depends how much time you are wanting to play and grind. If you are more casual go Spellsinger/Mage.
Crushing as well for the poison weapon in shadowplay damage. You need the little extra damage and the melee doesn't effect your archery damage. Mostly just for the sockets.
