I sometimes have the chance to sort thru 100+ year old pocket notebooks and shop ledgers - please don’t be upset about staining or wear marks. If your journals last as long as those have, the wear marks are what bring these items to life again 💜

I've been planning to start a 5-year journal but have it begging on my birthday. I got some gorgeous date stickers that match the vibe of the journal. 😊 So I'll definitely be there on Fri, although I'm already anticipating the Halloween release 😅

I’m planning on getting the Heritage journal for my NaNoWriMo project for this year. The book washi tape is a must because once again NaNoWriMo. The main thing I want the most is the massager bag! I have the olive creative bag and it’s so good! It holds so much! And I’ve been looking for a smaller massager bag than the larger one I have. I’m trying to retire the large one since it’s a Linkin Park massager bag.

None of A&O books will stand the test of time.. none of them have archival paper (acid free). I WISH that they provided acid-free paper :(

I'm a completionist with pens, too. When I bought my color pencils, the 50 pack came with color labels on the pencils, but the 70 pack did not. I really need to name them myself, and them not being distinguished is annoying to me, but I couldn't not get the 20 additional colors. Even at the potential of feeling complete with the set of 50 otherwise.

Oh I ordered the burgundy.. fell in love with the color.. however I ordered the B5 which is too big for me .. next time I will order a smaller one 😂

I agree with you on the full cover - I love everything about it *except* the acorn design in the center. The oak leaves should be larger and it should be rendered differently =\ Do love the swirling leaves tho, and the frames. 🍁🍂🍁

Not hit the UK yet 😐 - but love it. As a sewer Buckram is a much tougher fabric then linen - just saying! and I want the owl in ALL sizes!!!!

Jess, you have a Cricut. You could easily cut out a vinyl decal to cover the acorns if you so desired ;)

Acorns and squirrels for me. I live in a place that has the word oak in it's name and we have tons of squirrels in a big oak tree in the yard. Very homey feeling for me. ❤

These are so pretty! I’m in love with the vintage notebook but I’m super duper excited about the fountain pen!! (Hi, I’m Liz and I’m a fountain pen addict.LOL) I enjoyed getting your take on the different options. And I know I’m in the minority, but I really do like the camera. Not necessarily the camera image but I love the notebook’s color. I find blue/gray/slate colors very calming so I’ll definitely be adding that one to my “like to have”.

I just want to say thank you for doing this. I was able to pick my summer mermaid journal by watching this the last time you did a release review. I will say I think the owl & suitcases go first, due to the Harry Potter effect. I want to get the picture frames journal. Thank you for zooming in on those and for sharing your code! I have no budget and plenty of blank A&O notebooks, but if I could buy something from this release, it would be the owl notebook.

My favorite is the camera. Our family business is a photo shop and I've done photography since I was 7 years old. so 50 years now.

41:57 I _almost_ never buy washi tape packages with different patterns like these. Let me deside what patterns I want!

1:00:16 Yes! This is the correct shape of the polaroid.

The photos look more like darkroom photo prints, rather than Polaroids. We just don't see a whole lot of bordered photo prints these days. (I guess we don't see a lot of photo prints in general these days lol)

I REALLY don’t need another journal but I’m really tempted by the owl one. Also plan on ordering a few of the washis, the camera stamp set and maybe some of the stickers. I think the acrylograph colors are pretty but I have a terrible time with those pens, might try the calligraphs but I need to double check if the colors are that similar to any of the tombows ( which I already have)

Wow. How does one even begin to decide?? LOL! I'm still new to A&O so of course I want one of everything, but no, don't have the funds for that! I love the acorn journal and have been thinking about the 8x8 size. Gotta have the paper pad! I just know when I add everything up I'll have a stroke... ;-) Thanks, Jess!

Hi Jashi! 🙋🏻‍♀️❤️✨ Very interested in the neapolitan notepad - cream/craft/pink. I love soft blush pinks 💖🤎🤍 I also liked the swirling leaf stamp set. Not sure I can afford it.

Paper24 has a design with a feather. I own it, it's beautiful. I love the frames, attic, acorn and leaves designs. 💛 They all happen to be colors I still need for my A5 rainbow... Have some in other sizes and not that I regret those, not at all, but this is my chance to get them for this too. Luckily I just accepted myself for being a notebook with beautiful designs collector. Planners and pens not so much. Love the heirloom too. It would be nice next to the little pocket A6 notebook from the Vintage Library sub box. The only thing is: what to use it for? I've just decided what to use the heirloom from 2023 for, haha. But why a grey penloop when all of the other notebooks are black? 😭 I have stopped purchasing acrylographs because my drawer is pretty filled up and it mostly will be new shades now, I think. While lovely, I have to start using them more often to justify the cost. The calliographs are a problem for me because you can't get a refill. I have succesfully used one of them and now I'm without. So I just don't buy them anymore. If the washi tapes will be available in the Netherlands, I will get two of them. But I still hate you have to buy sets, because I usually love just one design or maybe two. The pictures and the trees this time. But I must say, the other tapes are lovely and usable too. Except the small one, but I can live with that. The stickers are just to expensive, even though I love them. I'm so sad they decided to ask $11 for the printable as well (even more because I have to pay tax too), because those usually are less. I was expecting $5 just like the tabs. I love the fall stamps (design 2), but I'm not sure they will be available in the Netherlands. Just like the fountain pen, unfortunately. Perfect for the heirloom in terms of color! But not feathering indeed. Better on Tomoe River paper, which I own too. I like the ivory paper, but have no need for pink and kraft because I have those already.

The update... I finally finished what I set out to do, 7 hours later!

42:34 I prefer washi tape with a pattern that I can use horisontal, vertical and diagonal without being irritaded about the pattern.

Since it's going into spring in Australia, do you save these notebooks for that season or do you use them when you get them?

Your pen number is 7 out of ten. My tape number is 3 out of 4... 😂 I can always use the one I don't like for watercolor...

I don't know that I feel comfortable doing a Harry Potter theme in my own journal, but I'm glad that they're able to do something that gets that vibe across without being licensed and supporting she-who-must-not-be-named. That said, I will likely be buying the washi tapes. I am a washi tape completionist, just as you are a calliograph completionist 😂

Got here late. Only 2 things jumped out as must haves. Okay 3 but I refuse to buy anymore pens till I start using the ones I have. The Heritage Letter size and the Neopolitain note pad are on my list. Since I am still using up My first box of washi. That had way to many I don't really care for Washi is an All or nothing prospect. If A&O would Include strips of the washi In there Digital Stickers. I would be all over it. As an Embasador, Can you pass that idea on to them? Christina 🦝

Those aren’t Polaroid cameras. That’s why the photos don’t look like Polaroids. . . They aren’t. lol I live in a place where pumpkins grow in abundance. I’ve never seen a white pumpkin. Doesn’t mean there aren’t any but this girl hasn’t seen any!
