That is quite a challenge to stalk and kill a lion with a bow. Great footage. Seen lions up close on kills but never on purpose. Hope you get it done. Good job!

Wish they allowed hounds on that salt lake unit. Hunted it with dogs years ago. A lot of lions and some giants

That was awesome 👏 I give you props for sticking it out during that blizzard 🌨️ and also for staying with your weapon of choice in your Prime Revex 2. Not sure why they are going to be treated like coyotes, must be a ton of them in Utah. I have always wanted to do a cougar hunt, try their meat 🍖 which I hear is top notch and if I had the money 💰 which I currently don’t a full body mount would be sweet 🐆😎

Very cool video! What an awesome feat it would be for sure!! I once spotted a big tom while bear hunting with my bow and to wanted to spot and stalk and get it done with my bow! Got to 29.5 yards with it bedded.. As I drew it caught my movement and jumped with cat like reflexes lol Very close and very cool! Almost..

@@zacharykjenkins6226 it's not about balls, "tough guy." It's about the animals. Specifically, ungulates. But as I've seen here in WA, ID, and Montanans, and Wyomingites have seen, they'll see in CO soon. And they'll jump at the opportunity to kill a predator.

I have a real issue with this new bill, management by lobbyists is no way to manage wildlife. The state has an agency with educated individuals with the best interests in wildlife management and this bill goes right around them.

Pretty impressive trying to flip the tables on a predator. I took my Cougar years ago with my recurve using dogs, but this is a different game.

@@Martin_Chag That would have been some sweet video if the cat had paused just a few seconds more! Hunting isn't just about the kill, it's about the whole experience. Sorry to hear about the lifting of any regulations on cats in Utah. If this guy was eating high on the hog on winter kill, imagine how many more deer and elk will starve to death when they've eaten themselves out of house and home, with no natural predators to cull the herds.

Yes that cat was big and stuffed full ... when it took off it wasn't all that hurried... I watched a video a couple weeks ago where a guy shot a cat I believe in that area , he mentioned you in the video.. Anyways hope you get another chance to send that arrow...

Awesome video! I was lucky enough to get one spot and stalk with a bow a few years ago. I was really hoping you pulled it off on video! My cat was filmed and is up on Angry Spike Productions RU-vid channel, but I can't imagine how much more difficult it would be to self film. Hope you get it done next time!
