Im dead bro.." it hit something" i was in the same point in my journey last year. Except i went a built my own arrows it took me about three months to bare shaft, knock tune and the tune fixed blade broadheads. Bowhunting is tough when your "self tought". Keep up the progress! Love watching your jouney big dog!
I remember mine! Stacked both my target bags behind vertical smaller one on top and shot from that distance. Had my Uncle and cousins watching from that distance and took the shot at an angle (I'm aiming for the lower target just even hoping to hit it at all). Shot made it and hit the top target in a Bullseye. My Uncle was like that's a Kill shot. We went close and saw that it was a Bullseye and the top bag. My mouth dropped! I knew then that this was for me.
Kool stuff enjoyed the not so good shots that’s real and I’m only a year in and just got a bear species ev so I relate to the newer struggle game keep them coming
In the video you adjust your pin on the sight, my question is to you fallow the arrow like you would when you are sitting in your bow? New to archery and trying to learn as much as I can
What has helped me finding those arrows… Pick up an inexpensive metal detector… Pick a section at a time where are you think it went….. it will find them a few inches underground sometimes… I think over 10 years. I have found every arrow on my range.
I have a hunting set of arrows and a practice set. They are all within 1-2 grains. Which means they fly the same. I just don’t use my hunting set as much cause I want to keep them nice. Also watch your bubble level. At long distances it really needs to be in the center.
some advice to increase accuracy at longer distances.. have a bit of a watch of some joel turner ''shot IQ'' videos as i feel you're a bit punchy on the trigger & if you are much lighter on the release it'll result in a much better overall group. but otherwise keep up the great work making these videos!
If your happy with your hunting arrow setup put an order in to get another dozen of them in the next few weeks. Right now is the busy time for archery shops.
Are both sets of arrows setup the same or at least similar spec? Can make it very difficult to find cosistency if the arrows are not the same. I have many different sets of arrows but I only shoot the same arrows together, that way I know the problems are with me, not the change in arrows. Good shooting regardless, love the videos!!
@@davidduplessis3631 yea I know exactly what you mean…they are similar in spec but for sure I know they flying different..once I’m alittle more confident I’ll use my perfectly set up arrows
@@whatisarchery I will be posting new archery videos myself. It’s been a while since I posted here because I had two channels. I recently upgraded and dedicated this channel to archery!!!
Plese next time tell us what kind of bow you are useing your drow weight I love bows never got a chance to try it I saw one in walmart but even if i buy it still have no where to practic i want to try one so bad
Bro you need to get the trophy ridge react one pin , when you adjust your 20 and 30 , you’re 30 also moves you 40 all the way to 100 simultaneously so once you’re 20 and 30 is adjusted all the other pins are adjusted with it one and done
Brother I had to buy my wife that wise guy release because it’s purple and she has a color coordination thing going on. She loves it. 🫡to fallen arrow in the woods.
