👍👍. Totally different experience than in the backyard. Won’t be very long before you will be shooting for score. Lots of times I will pay the “ just for fun” fee and shoot for kill zone hits with my hunting setup. For me it creates a different mindset than shooting for score and is way more relaxed. Looks like the kids had more fun than you. At least you got the feel of the game
Archery expansion, when the backyard, gets larger...the target changes and where to shoot is fuzzy.....its where the addiction takes off in 3D. Glad to see you doing this especially with the kids. Keep grinding big dawg
Ive recently have got into traditional shooting with a recurve and cant help but shoot everyday . Archery is Awesomely fun and therapeutic! Digging the journey glad your sharing !!🙏🏼
Was watching this again and noticed how your using that release. I hate to read like a “ know it all” to you but please consider setting it up differently or getting a thumb button release. I know you’re doing great AND enjoying this journey. I’ve been where you are years ago and honestly there are different ways that have proven to be “ better?” Possibly buy a used Carter Wise Choice thumb? One very accomplished archer using a thumb is John Dudley of Nockon archery. His noc2it two finger is a wise choice less finger holds. He has a video showing how he has his set so there’s no commanding the shot break. Just keeps pulling and it will break. Just saying!
Archery is awesome yo! Good to see a young brotha doing positive things and showing the kids the same! Ive had other hobbies growing up but wish i started this one earlier! Keep it up and stay motivated! God bless!
The kiddo might have better form lol, envious you have a course so close. Not too many people in my area that are interested in archery so no courses. Kids looked like they had fun.
first off what a beautiful family you have, then right off id say plz get your daughter behind you on every shot, ive seen some crazy stuff happen at full draw d loop break bows derail or any freak thing and can send that arrow or bow parts right where she is and that could be very bad. it its nice to see a family man including his family in archery and the great outdoors kids need to be outside more instead of having there face in a screen of some kind good job. looks like those targets are all ASA targets thats most of the shoots I go to in the south east very few IBO shoots where im at. I like the IBO targets as they seem to be more easy for me to get 12s dont know why. on the ASA if I miss I tend to miss high right so I call a lot of upper 12s and aim for center 10 on targets im not as good at.. keep at it man I love 3D then right before the season I will bring the hunting bows out there and practice heart shots from my saddle up on our deck thats 12 foot high plus another 12 foot on the poles they have there for climbers or what ever you use to hunt out of.
