Jason has shown you how to set your nock point and tie a loop. Now, he will show you how to install the QAD drop away rest. ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Please watch: "2015 Bow Review: Athens Solace" ➨ • 2015 Bow Review: Athen... ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
Great video Jason!!! Been shooting the Whisker for years now but moving to the FOBs this year. Still undecided on the rest but QAD HDX looks really nice... get what you pay for right. Loving the NAP Apache as well for the FOBs at a really nice price.
Good video. An alternative method I use is to draw the bow with my LCA draw board and then attach the rest's cord to my downward cable when the bow is fully drawn - it stands the arm all the way up. It works well for me.
Hey awesome video. I had a quick question. When I'm leveling my arrow the rest is locked in that 80 degree stage just like in your video. But when the arrow is shot the rest is at the 90 degree stage. How come when you level your arrow your not leveling at the 90 degree stage. Does the arrow not rotate up slightly when it goes from 80 to 90 degrees or does qad factor that in.
Hi and thank you for the video. I just had one but my feathers have the rest marks on them and same thing on the ''V'' of the rest to suggest that it won't go down fast enough. Is there a way you can speed up the rest to go down?
i love the FOBs as well, what kind of adjustment do i need to make if my fob is making contact with the rest. It appears to be level, just not dropping out of the way fast enough.
Great video Jason but I have to say I have never seen my local bow shop use either of the two levels that you showed or the laser to make sure the rest is perfectly aligned. What does a person do in a case like that? Just eyeball it and then paper tune?
Yeah a lot of shops where I used to work do that. We used to eye ball everything, then paper tune. Shot after shot after shot. This just makes the process so much easier. I can lazer tune a bow and it will shoot perfect holes through paper. I don't even shoot mine through paper and the flight is perfect. Thanks for your comment.
