What many people fail to notice: During the performance it became dark. That was not, because the daily progression of the earth around the sun but because of archgoats performance.

I had to watch the completely drunken bastard that got in trouble with the crew of an ambulance in the back there, first he played dead but then he saw the ambulance and was completely sober in a second but the ambulance crew wanted him in hospital badly…
Now this is what black metal is to me. I bought their first LP on vinyl back in the 90's and still have it. Rise of the Black Moon is the first song on it after the intro and one of my favorites. They play it at 31:20 and it sounds very similar to the studio album version. It's so heavy and grindy. I love that they put the effort into including the ambient synth parts of the music on stage. Amazing and true to the original! Hail Archgoat!

It seems like most crowds are tired nowadays. And the older you get the less you headbang. I personally can enjoy a band just standing there and raise My fist now and then. When I was 20 I stagedived like it depended on my life though.
I absolutely love brutal black metal! But I noticed something...when I search for bmbands, (funeral wind's, isvind) if their album cover is black white and red, that album is heavy...
I think most crowds are tired today, and the older you get the less you headbang. I personally raise My fist now and then during a show, and maybe shout something great about the band between songs. When I was 20 though, I stagedived like my life depended on it. By the way you rarely see stagediving at metalshows today, mostly at hardcore shows.
I love the footage. I can't help but think they would have had a more terrifying and atmospheric presence had they played at night time. Still a great set list however and that little dude at 9:30 with the drum stick was simultaneously metal af and adorable.
@@ildippo5231 yes i know. Good riffs. But hes just sloppy live. For example middle part in nuns cunts and darkness. He never gets it right. But doesnt matter. Its all black metal and beherit worship. doesnt need to be perfect. But a sloppy drummer on top of that..... i mean they had a good drummer. Angelslayer said that the guy wasnt contributing to the band and threw him out if i understood that right. Now worst of all they good a sloppy drummer...
