Watch this ARCHICAD video tutorial and learn elegant solutions to three tricky modeling challenges sent in by members of my ARCHICAD Coaching Program (www.bobrow.com/.... See easy and creative ways to use Morphs to:
1) Cut off and cap the top of a wall at handrail height following the slope of stair treads with an intermediate landing
2) Inset an intricate pattern of contrasting stucco finish into a brick wall
3) Create and clean up a "made to order" ADA-compliant pipe rail for stairs using a set of complex profiles converted into a morph.
These questions were compiled from recent sessions of my ARCHICAD Coaching Program. Members of the program get my personal assistance in working with ARCHICAD.

nice stuff. 2) Inset an intricate pattern of contrasting stucco finish into a brick wall: Fill Consolidation is much faster than adding every fill with the magic wand command

Can anyone help me out please. I have 2 squares of different dimensions. The smaller square sits in the middle of the larger square. I want to use the Morph tool to cover the area between the larger square and the smaller square, not the center . I dont want to use the Boolean expression 'substract' which is tedious. I want the short cut command where i can click in the area.

When I change my polylines to morph, then I can't extrude or push pull. Coz the small dialog box which those commands are inside it, is not showing. Plz help.

O believe this suggestions are quick fixes, because when you dealing with accurate plans and schedules, complex operations with morphs don’t count, and don’t show up.

Good advice..but...That last rotation was over Y axis and not Z...archicad is almost always right ahahah.

Morphs show up nicely in 3D views, sections and elevations. Messy plan representation and schedule issues can often be worked around by saving the morphs (along with related elements) as custom objects; these can have an optimized 2D representation and be included in schedules.
