Archie is a small business owner who has a property in South Dallas that he has owned for 18 years. Upon purchasing it, Archie says the city told him they would extend Childs street 100 additional feet so it would lead to his property. They promised this again 6 years ago, still to no avail. The space between remains impassable and he is not able to use or sale his land, because it is worthless in this inaccessible state, so he says. He has recently been hit with back property taxes to the tune of 100K plus. He feels this is unfair and that he either shouldn't be taxed for land that the city hasn't fulfilled their obligation to the use of, or that it should be reduced considerably given the circumstances.
