As architect trying to find your dream job, what are the 2 biggest issues you’re dealing with? 2. Regarding finding a job as an architect, what would you wish for more than anything else? 1. Issue #1 - As an Architect, you must choose your own specialization after passing the Licensure Exam, where you can focus as a a.)Design Architect (pure desiging/office base), b.)Site Architect (specialized in construction execution, you don't design but execute the design in collaboration with Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing professionals), c.) Project Management Architect - you do both the design and construction by leading and collaborating with the Design Architect and Site Architect. You are the mediator and direct person of the owner or client. You don't work for the designer or contractor. You are the one who evaluates their output and check the progress and timeliness of the project and directly report it to the owner.
Issue #2. You must be knowledgeable already with the various/ updated tools or computer application in architectural design and engineering. (AutoCad,Revit,SketchUp..) without these skills, you don't have any chance to land a job in architecture industry because it is the most critical skills for the said career.

...step one for being an architect: Find out yourself instead of asking random strangers what to do. We don't even know where you live!? Just check out universities and their requirements. Two clicks away! I haven't heard of any universities offering courses for people after year 10. You're not gonna have a job interview for university. At least not one like this.
I think To be a real ICT EA, you must be a hard code knowledgeable in ICT. First - technology (network) and security technical expert. Second - application system (system analyst experienced) Third - Data management and analytics proficient (baseline is DBMS skill) If you have these skills surely the success of IT with EA. Otherwise that EA with only the skill said in the video would deliver the same story with others just drawing and story Teller in the company.

I would like to add that in Architecture and construction industry, soft skills stated on the video are the most necessary skills but the hard skills the Hard Skills. BIM
@@CareerVidz in an interview, I'm not looking for a well formulated answer but for the facts, exposure, solutions and so. A candidate that will just answer me like a motivation letter will be out of her can't demonstrate the skills he/she is interviewed for
@@mysocial Well you wouldn't invite a candidate for an interview if you weren't interested by what they had demonstrated on their resume. The interview is then backed up by those facts, and is an assessment for who they are as a person, which in this case, if they were to address the questions based on the responses shown in this video, it reflects their dedication and desire to be well-prepared to impress their recruiter. After that, it's only when they start working for you where you can be reassured with the standards they had presented themselves with.

Many competency based interviews allow 10 minutes for candidates to give their answers. You will of course have to judge the situation at the time for yourself and how you deliver the answers will make a big difference.
