I clearly see really big improvement on your "Carter's vocals". Admit it you have rushed into traning those. Didn't you? :) It was much bigger pleasant to listen it that your previous covers of Architects. Well done Christian Johansen!

Watch some tutorials on singing with distortion. A lot of the tutorials dont sound anything like sam, but that's not important. The technique they teach you is actually crucial to this. Once you got the basis of a solid singing/belting with distortion you need to become familiar with mix voice and how to control your placement The way I've sound to do Sam's voice, as well as taught my drummer is imagine you're singing from the back of your nose. So very head placed mixed voice. Now here's the catch, you need to actually release less air while beliting, yet more force with your diaphragm. Ik it contradicts, but just find that nasal placement, and concentrate on not letting a lot of air push out of your body, yet use the drive you get from your diaphragm. You'll probably sound a little wacky at first, but as you keep doing it and engaging that muscle memory soon you'll be able to do a pretty similar sound to sam carter without damaging your throat.
