@@ryanlennon6269 There is a cut before Doomsday. There is a part missing for sure because i remember them playing for 2h in Dusseldorf couple days before and they played Animals
They were barely as popular as Northlane or maybe even less 3 weeks ago. Hindsight Henry over here bitching about them only getting half an hour well how long do you expect the two supporting groups to play before Architects start?
I´ve seen all 3 of them in Düsseldorf, it was absolutely insane. Architects played for over 2 hours, and they kept the energy high during the whole time. Been listening to metal for over 15yrs and it was my first big concert - now I´m hooked (seeing BFMV for the second time this year the day after tomorrow). Sam was incredible live, the video doesn´t do his voice justice imo.
Pretty satisfying video and audio quality. Good job! Thanks for sharing! Sleep Token has become one of my favorite bands since stumbling across their [his?] music a few years ago.
Thank you so much for this recording! Couldn't come because we were expecting our first child around that time. The line up and performances are incredibly amazing. Enjoying every second of it right now!
I dont understand how the crowd is not grooving at all to the riffs laid down by Sleep Token. Everyone just stand there holding a phone or staring. Smh . Atleast by the end a quarter of them got into it.
I wanted to see them so bad (on the 10th january). The line up is unbelievablely sick!! But I couldn't go there because I had to write my Abitur (high-school diploma) :/ They all sounded incredible. I'm jealous ✋🏼 Hope I will be able to see them in this (or a similar) line up one day
I have triedso hard, Sleep Token was described to me as the second coming with how much praise they get, and its clear they are all talented as hell. But these vibrato laden vocals just drive me up the wall 😵💫
If you don’t like it you don’t like it. I love them, it is almost a religious experience for me funnily enough, but they don’t gel with everyone. I started listening to them at a tough time so I think that’s part of it.
Unfortunately, both of my phones were nearly dead at the end of live, At that time I was afraid that continuous recording would cause a shutdown, so I only dared paragraph recording. The latter part of the clip is all that was recorded and the last song: Animals are missing, but I hope you enjoy watching it anyway.
@@thebatman1646 😢haven't recorded that’s so sad; even I've done animal guitar cover before. But I only can say animal is the most fantastic song that night made all people spend their last strength shake their heads 😂
This tour better hit the States!!! The two tours to come here for Architects were canceled. Northlanes last tour here was canceled as well. This fucking lineup has to make it to the States!!!!!!!
The acoustic of Memento mori has me absolutely sobbing but also sleep token were incredible! I’m not into north lane which is a shame as this tour would have been so good!
Wow, amazing recording quality. I attended the concert in Frankfurt and was looking for a way to relive the moment ever since. With good headphones, your recording sounds pretty much like what I remember. What exactly did your recording setup look like? Hard to believe that the microphones in an iPhone could capture the original audio this well.
I didn't deliberately tweak the recording effects while recording, I used protake for 4k 24 fps hdr recording. The audio phasing was edited and adjusted later on davinci, as the left channel of the stereo should have been actually heard in the middle when recorded, still not as good as the real stereo recorded in the middle of the scene.
Besides of wanting to document of how Dead the crowd is , im Curious whats the logic of Not Zooming In to the stage so we can see the Bands performance better? will it affect the audio quality? or is it just a dumb decision?
Nah I just want to capture this massive place. Zoom the lens wouldn't affect the audio though😆 Also, if use a tele lens you wouldn't see the big VJ screen in the background.
Came to see this show from Prague. What a show! The sound was pretty shit though. It was ok when you were directly in the cone of the speakers but if you stood in the middle-front, all you could hear was people talking and stage sound.
Man I don't mean to be negative but last time I've seen architects was right after Tom's death (rest in peace), and man, Sam's vocals really went downhill..
I saw them in 2019 with thy art is murder and while she sleeps and they sounded amazing but this last tour sam sounds tired and can’t hit all of his notes
@@permanentinlater8min Totally understand. But there are bands that do this and have AMAZING vocals live. Godsmack for one. Sully is a different creature when it comes to live performances. Architects reminds me so much of how A Day To Remember is live. Their album work is slammin, but their live vocals are meh. What saves these groups is damn good music and crowd control/interaction. When you're there, you're immersed by everything so you don't care/notice that the vocals aren't up to snuff. Lemme sum that all up by saying although Carter may not sound like the album live, they still put on a good show.
I love Architects with all my heart, but damn; they mostly play stuff from their two latest albums, which are pretty fucking terrible for the most part.
Saw Northlane on their Australian regional tour in November, looking forward to knotfest to see them again, seeing Architects in less than 2 weeks, can't freaking wait 🤘🏼
