Hello Benett, great help here! I especially like #3 about personal work. I am trying to understand struggeles of ambitious architects fully, and therefore have two very simple questions. I am curious what you (or others) think of it: -As architect trying to find your dream job, what are the 2 biggest issues you’re dealing with? -And what do you think people wish for more than anything else? when looking for job? That's an excellent question, and I think it definitely depends on personal opinion. To some, it might be stability, and for others it might be lifestyle. As for myself, I value freedom in design decisions and getting the chance to work on interesting projects. Working at credible companies in the past have enabled me to build trust and portfolio that helps me find ideal projects and clients. I would love to hear what your priorities are too!
@@ArchiHacks thanks for your reply. Where did you study actually? I think the biggest problem is that most people are not awaare what they really want and just take the job that comes along. But if you really know what you desire and take baby steps into that direction, you will end up there, i believe so. I am surrounded by a lot of people who value the design part, so they want to be in a great office and have freedom but i also admire the ones who say i am a project architect and i stay on that path, i want to make the details great and dont need to stand in the immediate spotlight.
I studied at the university of Waterloo, and I think both sides are equally valid : ) Sometimes it just takes time for someone to find their calling. I also agree with you that if you take intentional steps towards a certain goal, you'll for sure to reach it one day!

Hey, that's a great question! I went to the University of Waterloo and I was fortunate to have a great professor who introduced my class to rhino very early on. Having said that, as with all things, I have learned a lot out side of class through projects and office work. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Hey thanks for the great video? I have a question. I am working on my portfolio and I am using illustrator for making diagrams and linking them to indesign for presentation. The issue is anytime I export the indesign file as a pdf the thin vector lines in the diagrams appear to be thick unless i zoom in. It was suggested that i rasterize all the vector diagrams so that the lines retain their thicknesses. What do you suggest. Please help thank you 🙏🏾🙏🏾

It seems that there's no reliable way to ensure that whoever that receives the file will have proper settings for their pdf viewer. One alternative can be using a document sharing website like issuu.com Let me know if that works for you!
