Does architects start making floorplans and stuff before studying? I want to be one, I really do but I don't know if people already know a lot about it before starting to study.
@@CloudyJijiPhobia AFAIK, a lot of people enter architecture college with no formal education specifically in architecture, but rather a mixture of art, math, and physics skill. However, I don’t know how it is in countries other than the USA.
@@navyab8322 Oh okay, yeah that makes sense. I guess it's things you lean in (bear with me because I don't know shit about the American school system) high school?? And probably hobbies.
@@CloudyJijiPhobia yeah, pretty much. Although some really nice high schools may have architecture or drafting courses, the bulk of them don’t so it’s based on classes you take and internships/camps that you’ve done.
Maa shaa 'Allah elhemdulillah may Allah grant you hapiness and strenght and I Hope you will succeed in your dreams fii dunnya wa fii Al Akhira, your work is great ! 😄
Good advice for avoiding cuts: do not apply pressure which requires you to press into the sheet and instead do multiple light passes. This also makes for a clean cut. Snip off the blade after about 10 to 15 cuts so it's always sharp and does not require pressure for cuts. Have a maximum of two blade scores out at any time. Advice from an older architect. Good luck on your journey 👍🏼
I did a simple library thats 60 square meters it costed me 4 hours to lern what to do step by step and 8 houers to finsh it with detail @theonewhoaskedandcares
This was always the best in my architecture studies ❤ time consuming, yes, but great. Hope you have a more luck in the actual profession after university.
I'm so inspired by how committed to work & cut those in five straight days; my ADHD cannot that all but with scheduling on my end so that I won't feel overwhelmed. But the satisfaction of completing all requirements and presentation 🎉❤❤ was the best part of it.
Architecture graduate here! I wish I was able to watch a lot of Archictecture contents from creators like you back when I'm still at college. Will really help a lot more! I mostly relied on books and everything I can find in Google for scale modelling (and design, etc) inspos as RU-vid was just about to boom back then. 😅
My dad is an architect who is always busy doing stuff (the company is his so pretty much he does everything or he needs to contract ppl) anyway, one of the only moments he wasn't completely busy was when he did this, I would sit in the other side of the table to not bother him but just watching him was very satisfying and I always admired how beautiful his work is
Is the job good???? .... I BADLY want someone to advise me... 😭.... It has been my ambition for some time... I really want to know if the salary is really low as ppl says.... With all the family pressure about it's not worth it is making me confused.. thanks in advance!
@@MelancholicSoul-qu9wf Bhai maine pura research kr liya hai ispe kutte jaisi halat ho jayegi aacha khasa career barbad, jo ek architect ka salary hai na utna koi bhi engineer jo ki tier 3 clg se padha hai wo bhi uske double kamata hai .Bhai architect ke profession mein 6-7 saal lag jayenge uss salary tk pahunchne mein jitna ki ek normal avg eng kamata hai like 10-15lpa . Aage tum dekh lo bhai tumhari marzi .😌
Wowow im sorry people, unfortunately, I don't know everything regarding the matter and even if I asked him directly he would not release that info (he is hard to talk to) but I do know that as an intern or to work for a company is very difficult to grow and to earn a good paycheck. We went through difficult times a lot during my childhood, but once he started his own company and began to Grow, everything started going better. -Details to mention that might help is that he only works with foreigners who are background checked and have legal papers to reside in the country because locals many times would bate, scam, or start a project and are unable to finish. He has little (sometimes none) clients per year but you know these clients can pay. He is also popular due to his creativity, he does not make just any basic designs so if you want a squared building he will not do it.. Is he happy? That is difficult to answer. As his daughter I would love to say yes but sometimes I have doupt. He has his dreamlife now, the house, the things, the economic freedom... but he spent so much time and effort in his work that made him a negligent spouse and father, he lives in the dream house on his own. so in the end, Do whatever you want to do. it doesn't matter if you have the approval or if it doesn't give you the monetary income you want. Money comes and goes, you can make more money later, but time flies and if you keep doing things you regret, nothing would be worth in the end. Writing this was painful so Love yourself, love what you have, the people around you, and do what you love, no matter what.
this immediately throws me back into my own late nights in the studio! I love the whole model making process and seeing it all come together after about a week of all nighters is one of the things that keeps me going in architecture haha
@@GraceKveton dont mean any disrespect, proceeds to disrespect. also why do you christians HAVE TO force your beliefs onto us muslims??? bro we are convinced you guys are tought to force your beliefs on non-christians atp. please stop with this nonsense and leave us alone in peace ffs. thanks. you dont see us forcing our beliefs onto you, so who are you to do so? just stop its not that hard.

It made me remember my college days and the injuries and wounds during the fun work. I am also an architect but I specialize in the restoration of historical buildings.
True masterpiece, now dream the future and make it real! People will live, laugh, love, cry, fear and die in the spaces you create, make them the best you can please❤
I wanted to be an architect when I was 12 but people always said it wasnt a good job for a muslim women, but now im in highschool and working towards becoming a great engineer! MashaAllah You've given hope to me❤
I always wanted to be an architect, just didn't have that clarity as a kid when choosing my major. Now its super cool (but also sometimes envious) watching you make such stuff.
This is so beautiful 💕💕 your smile is so sweet, the trigger warning is really appreciated (it’s surprising how few people remember to put them) and the final result was stunning!
This is moment for every architectural student... making analysis drawings, making designs, working drawings, final building models, presentations... hahaha I used to be like that when I was in college... very memorable 😆🤜🤛... keep the spirit 🔥🔥🔥🔥
it has always been my dream to make exact replicas out of material like that and ive been inspired to try and get into architecture aswell and one of my adult cousins is also an architect!
As a Muslim girl I feel so happy and inspired by watching you. Now the world can see that we also can do ✨ANYTHING✨ we want.🫶🏼 (btw ur hijab is stunning 🤩) *mashAllah*
In shariya muslim women should not work or go to any other education women should take care of family kids and husband it's the order of God please don't do the above video is a American propaganda video
as an aspiring architect, im impressed by your ability to create such clean models. mine always turn out messy but thats probably because im not even in hs yet... ALSO POINTS FOR THE ARCTIC MONKEYS
