This is just so sad with hindsight. She was a very smart woman. She had to endure a lot. She is not all wrong, but it was all still about maintaining and not a cure. She made it to 69. Patty Duke, Carrie Fisher, Margot Kidder were all trying to help others.

He wasnt wrong, she was an addict. Her being addicted to opiates and alcohol (which led to her overdosing and dying from that overdose) was never curable. You cannot cure an addict, they are forever an addict with struggling sobriety.

@@Doofus171 Addiction, generally, arises from mental illness when there's drug abuse. There's no cure for it and there's no cure for mental illness. The Dr in this video was wrong.

I loved her so much. Thank you Margot for your bravery, courage, intelligence, warmth, and humor. You were a REAL person with compassion, humanity, honesty, and a strong sense of what’s right. I will never forget how you helped me with your words of wisdom and treasure them ALWAYS.

Mental Health Treatment in Canada is pathetic, especially for men. From someone who's been hospitalized 12 times, and now waiting to go back to the only Mental Health Centre in Canada for the 3rd time. Here take this pill, oh that didn't work take this pill, ohh that didn't work take this pill, take this pill, take this pill. If you just think happy thoughts and do happy things you'll never be depressed. LOL, Ridiculous.

Niacin acts upon the microboime.. It modulates the microbiome. Obviously this is someting new to medicine. But we now know today that many vitamins have a big impact on microbiome diversity. Intrestingly on min 6:00 she said something important.. She suffered a car accident and recieved a lot of antibiotics.. A believe thats when her symptoms started coming back again. Antibiotics have a profound impact on the microbiome. When this delicate balance is affected dysbiosis takes allowing for her symptoms to come back. Today we have a robust amount of clinical evidence showing the intricate relationship that exists between the gut-brain axis. Thankfully Dr. Hoffer understood that diet is essential for overcoming dysbiosis. He truly was ahead of the game. A true visionary.

As opposed the tens of thousands of psychiatrists that prescribe medications that have the literal side-effect of suicide as warning label? And whose patients literally commit suicide on a daily basis.
