This album is too fucking good to be so short, definetely their best yet!

Before I really listened to Archspire very much I wondered why their albums were so short. A lot of metal bands put out 45-60 minute albums compared to the 30-35 minutes that most Archspire releases are. Then once I got into them I realized that they pack about quadruple the average amount of notes, even by extreme metal standards, into most of their songs, and then it made sense.

The bell part at 0:28 kills me. I can't love it enough.

3:59 is probably the most impressive thing I've ever heard a band do. I cant believe how well they stay together at that speed

Best song on the album constantly have the chorus stuck in my head

2:30 ... this beauty.

I was so happy when they played this when I saw them earlier this month. Didn’t expect to hear gems like this and the Mimic Well, but the fuckers played EVERY song from this album, and most of their other stuff. Also Dean was probably one of the nicest guys I’ve literally ever met.

We all know this is the best album of the year, but this is also best song of the album making it the best song of the year!

Jesus fucking christ man, the blast beats are somewhere in the 370bpm range, at least my metronome app tells me. Literally what the fuck. I cannot even comprehend this.

If this album isn't soon to be WIDELY known and considered by anyone with a clue to be an absolute fucking masterpiece, and at the very least a crazy impressive display of musicianship and composition by those who don't particularly like heavy metal, then I don't know how to measure my disdain for humanity.

I've been sitting like this for 6 minutes listening? Something about space-time fails when I listen to Archspire, I swear.

Best song out of the album imo, that part at 0:57 is incredible, high melody value thanks to the amazing bass line+guitar riff

Taken the place of my favorite metal band. A lot of tech metal out there at the moment but this seems to rise above the rest in my ears.

The First solo is Just Something Else

The musicianship here is amazing. Some kind criticism, i just wish the vocalist had more of a range. Some highs mixed in would sound sooo good. I'm thinking of some "shadow of intent" or "harbored dreams" type vocals. It's like the vocalist has one scream only. The short breathy growls.

I love this song.

This song really gets me going. I'm the kind person who likes to feel the percussion in my metal. I'll do pretty much anything to maintain vibratory synchronicity with the drums which includes finger tapping, stepping, even teeth chattering. Can you even imagine what goes on when this song comes on? By the end of it I'll have grinded my teeth down to the gums and break both my wrists and ankles.

I like the part at 2:18 where it get slower and quieter, and then it get to the cool part with the synth at 3:04 (I think it's a synth, it sounds pretty weird), and then it goes insane of course.
