Wait, if you pivot with a 2 of construction and spend a weapon resource on it, does that pivot suddenly have 4 battles on it or is it only one battle since it is still a pivot? If you play a copy can you play a weapon on it to turn it into one battle or can it be as many battles as the lead card?
On your 4th example, are you sure you could get a guild card and immediately do its prelude ability? I seem to remember reading something to the contrary in the rulebook
If you secure a card, you must wait a turn to do the prelude ability. This would apply to the first combo (Psionic + Relic). However, if you take a card from someone while still in your prelude you can use the prelude ability. This can happen from Silver Tongues, Guild Struggle when secured in the prelude, and when raiding in your prelude which can be done with 1 or 2 Psionics.
I'm sorry if replying here is obsolete-I hope not, since I really liked this overview. There seems to be a nuance here. The rule book p.20 says, "You cannot use Prelude actions on cards that you secured from the Court in the same Prelude." But I can't find a mention of cards or resources acquired by other means. On closer reading, that seems to be exactly what you said, Snoopy. My bad!
