Nice video / information as always. Could I badger HW to review the Seasonic Vertex PX platinum series? While there are so many reviews of GX and TX, there are virtually no reviews of the Vertex PX serie out and about. As in there is genuinely no reviews so I think it'd could possibly help with traffic on the website as well as being the first to even take a look, I've no clue on how close it is to Seasonic's Gold mind you.

Hi guys. I would like to ask if the Arctic Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB can fit inside the case of Lian Li Lancool III RGB Gaming Midi Tower( at the top) or i must to go for the 360mm to be safe, because it seems i cant find a answer ?

Aris you never tested the lian li Galahad trinity performance, it seems it competes with the cooler master atmos.

Is it better to install one cable or three cables to control the speed? Is there a lot of difference and which is better, one cable or 3 cables for rpm control?
@HardwareBusters
@HardwareBusters 2 месяца назад
for convience the single cable is better, for better control the 3 cables are preffered to be able to control individually the pump, the VRM fan and the radiator fans.

Aris, can you test Arctic Liquid Freezer III 420 with Arctic P14 Max fans? It will be interesting to see how much difference is with more powerful and louder fans. Thank you for the great channel! 🤍
@HardwareBusters
@HardwareBusters 3 месяца назад
This will only affect at full fan speed and not much in normalized noise output, which matters the most. This is what makes me skeptical to do that, and lose 2-3 days of time in the process.

Hi, on 8:43 it shows the Max tdp supported? I ask it because I need a liquidcooling that can tank an Epyc 9674F (I'll make an adapter to SP5 socket to make it work). Anyway, depending on your answer, which liquidcooling now can do this job efficiently?

Hi! It shows the CPU power that I measured with my power measurements board, powenetics. It is the average CPU power, the peak is way higher.

What's your opinion on making an AIO a push pull configuration with different fans. For example of I were to add some P14 MAX fans to this 420 AIO? I'm guessing higher max RPM of the P14 MAX may cause an issue?
@HardwareBusters
@HardwareBusters 3 месяца назад
The P14 Max would push the slower fans to spin faster most likely, even in pull configuration.

It's the included fans that hold it back, on the YT channel STS he did a test using 6 fans in push pull, that's when it shows what it can do. If I were to get this AIO I would replace the fans with the P14 Max ones.
@JimCKD
@JimCKD 3 месяца назад
@@akdragonpc473 fair point, but the default fans is what matters. When u buy an AIO most of the times u will have it with the preinstalled fans. If u change them u probably have better results, but that would apply to other AIOs, as well.
@akdragonpc473
@akdragonpc473 3 месяца назад
@@JimCKD Yes in principle you are correct. But the fans included (moreso with the non-rgb version) just don't have the static pressure perf for this thickness of rad. They should offer a "420 Max version with the better fans included. I am thinking of getting this AIO but will defo be getting x6 P14 Max fans with it.

@@JimCKD won't be for till end of year waiting on ARL and Zen5 releases before doing the build. But the push pull video on STS shows what can be expected in terms of perf with x6 fans.

Hi there, I’m from Portugal. I’m completely new to this. I bought a ASUS ROG Hyperion GR701 case with I9 14900K CPU and a ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 FORMULA motherboard. I’ve read that there is some sort of incompatibility due to the M2 Gen5 height. How do I install this AIO in my board? Can you help me please?

Hello! If you help me out with this choice, personally, I will definitely use your affiliate link to purchase! I am building a workstation PC for professional video editing and also for 4k gaming/streaming simultaneously using 3 separate 4K monitors. My current parts list is: i9 14900k CPU 4080 super GPU MSI Meg z690 Ace EATX M.B. I will be using a very large EATX case (haven’t picked yet). My question: If you were using these parts and building this type of PC for yourself, which AIO liquid cooler would you choose out of all you have reviewed? I need the best sustained performance to have the coolest CPU during long labor intensive tasks. I can’t decide between the Arctic liquid freezer III 420mm and the cooler master masterliquid 360 atmos! I really like that the ALF III has a VRM fan but I know it scores lower than the atmos in ally of your tests. Lower noise would be nice but not the most important. I’ve watched both of your benchmark videos on these, but I want to know what you specifically would choose between the two if it was your choice for your own personal PC like mine. And if you would choose something completely different, please let me know where to find your affiliate link for whatever you would choose for a higher end workstation. Also, is it a bad idea to use a seperate dedicated AIO liquid cooler unit to cool my GPU? Would you recommend a top performing one? I’m not extremely tech hardware savvy so I would rather not build a custom loop. Regardless, if you reply or not, I want you to know that I am extremely thankful for your hard work and dedication. I value your opinion over all others and I want to make sure to use your affiliate links to show my appreciation. Thank you buddy and cheers from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA!

I would go for the Freezer III 420 most likely. The VRM fan helps, a lot. Now since you also want to hear my general opinion, for my PC I would go for a Noctua NH-D15 and avoid AIO which will need a service after some years, while the air cooler, you will just have to clean it a bit and it will be like new again. I wouldn't go AIO on my work PC's GPU. I do custom water cooling from 2002, using custom-made parts and the last years most of my PCs have air coolers, because I am tired of the AIO failures that I encountered after a period of use.
@bigleafwoodcraft1453
@bigleafwoodcraft1453 2 месяца назад
@@HardwareBusters I really appreciate your guidance buddy! I understand that the air cooling solution is less hassle, but I will go with your AIO choice! Since I will have a monster case, I will have lots of room for additional fans. If you could recommend me intake fans and an exhaust fan, I will also use your affiliate links for those as well!!! When I watched your “only fans🤣” episode I didn’t see any larger fans like 200mm for example. If you had a case large enough to accommodate 2x200mm fans on the front and bottom for intake airflow, would you choose that configuration over 3x140mm on front and bottom for intake? If so, what would you go with? Once again, whatever you recommend, I will use your affiliate link for the U.S. Amazon to order everything. And while we are at it, now that you know most of my parts, I’m looking for a EATX Full Tower case that is large enough to accommodate my EATX motherboard and also now the ALF III 420mm liquid cooler on top. I know they are not the most efficient for airflow but I’m interested in a fish tank display style case with tempered glass side and front. I’m essentially looking for the most space possible so my parts don’t interfere with each other end for ease of install. If you could recommend a couple, I will also use your affiliate link of course! I can’t spend hundreds on this though. Lastly, I am going for a 4080 Super but I need it one of the less expensive models. The MSI EXPERT is what I’m most interested in for build quality and looks at it apparently runs hotter than the rest by upwards of 10 degrees under heavy load. Should I be worried about the extra heat? I’ve seen bad reviews for all other models close in price. ($1050 USD or less). If the extra heat would be a dealbreaker for you, do you have a recommendation on a different model that isn’t incredibly more expensive? At this point I’m sure you know but once again, I will use your affiliate link to Amazon US for all of these purchases to show appreciation for your health and hard work on your channel!

@@HardwareBusters also Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1350W, be quiet! Straight Power 12-1500w, or Seasonic PRIME GX-1300? I couldn’t find a review from you on the GX 1300 but I know the TX and PX versions you really like but I can get this one for $200 right now. I can’t spend much more than that and I would really love a quality SeaSonic psu so you think this one is really good , I will choose it. I’m just looking for the crust quality unit with plenty of connectors with black most wattage for less than $230 USD Ideally.
