I remember one time, at a restaurant, we were eating and I was listening to the music they were playing (it was mostly remixes of 2009-2013 songs to avoid copyright) and then I just hear "We're the Arctic Monkeys, this is "I bet you look good on the dance floor, don't believe the hype." I almost choked on my fish

I can’t help but keep coming back to this video, with my headphones on and the volume up high. I’m a 62 year old grandfather, I drink whiskey, vodka and Sherry now instead of rolling spliffs and grazing on ‘shrooms’ but I still play air guitar to this, while my wife sleeps and snores in her recliner! God I wish I was 19 again. This so reminds me of our garage band in the late 70s, thrashing away on my Les Paul copy through a Peavey combo with my mates on their Fender Jazz bass and cheapo Japanese strat copy and a battered Premier drum kit that had seen many better days! Youth is definitely wasted on the young. Love live rock. 😎✌️

Wow. Oh, man. These guys are incredible the way they can come up with a song that appeals to fans of punk, heavy metal, dance pop. Really, this suits the mosh pit and the "dance floor." The tune is so indie in spirit but it's got that mainstream element of a huge hook in the refrain. Just a great, talented band with a fine sense of songcraft and some nice chops.

As a 61 year old heavy metal man from Peckham in S.E.London 3 types of music i'm really into-british heavy metal ( sabbath,priest etc),heavy rock (mostly british) and blues BUT i luv it when certain bands come along like the smiths and the arctic monkeys- very original with their own sound and most importantly to me they sound great LIVE,as demonstrated by the minkeys (i can't help it cos whenever i hear the word monkey i think of peter sellar's inspector clouseau- " have yoo a lysense fir that minkey") the minkeys-great british band and still goin strong,all the best from Piers a.k.a. Chopper.

I honestly like this song better in this video than in the actual record. It's a slightly faster tempo, and for some reason just gets me amped so much more.
