Arctic Monkeys: Ranking the Albums 

Your ranking is exactly like mine! Humbug is absolutely amazing! Mainly because Matt gets to shine on this album so much! I love Secret Door, but my all-time fave is The Jeweller's Hands. Those drum fills at the end are some of the best ever!

I might be late but I'm going to speak anyway cause I love music and the diversity of your channel. Arctic monkeys is my 3rd favourite band behind The Strokes (lil reference on Star Treatment) and Radiohead. But damn they do have the most interesting difference of sound album by album. While I agree with basically everything you said, I just don't feel the same about the car. It crosses the line between interesting and boring for me. Anyway, my ranking would probably be: 1- FWN 2-WPSIATWIN 3-Humbug 4-TBHC 5-AM 6-Suck it and see 7- The Car

I agree with everything except the ranking of the first album. As you said, WPSIATWIN defined 2000s indie rock, and it is just stunning that it is a debut album. The maturity of the lyrics, the iconic guitar solos and Matt’s drumming all just make it the perfect album in my opinion. I’d probably swap it with TBHC in the ranking. Other than that, I full agree - Humbug is incredible.

Enjoyed this video and liked your summary of each album and nice touch to highlight 3 fave songs from each - I agree on Humbug being a wonderful and brilliant record, full of great songs and superb lyrics (Cornerstone specially, such a great story told!) but for me, and remembering like it was yesterday the buzz as they burst onto the scene, the debut album is their masterpiece. It’s one of the best albums of this decade (ranked 2nd in my own best albums of 00’s list) Keep enjoying this brilliant band, and have good days

My top 3 are AM, Tranquility Base, and Humbug, but I can't pick a favorite at the moment... Happy to see someone else love Himbug, and I adore Dangerous Animals, though I must say... The Jeweller's Hands is probably my favorite song by them... Good video!

I’ll check them out, as of now I’ve not heard a single song by this band. Unless I did without realizing it. I’m Sure you’re familiar with this, but it’s kind of cool when someone recommends a band you’ve never listened to- but at the same time loves a few bands you love as well.
