I have a PS5, Xbox One, & iMac should I get the Nova 7x rather than Nova 7p to use on all 3? I've read that the 7x work on all platforms where as the 7p work on everything EXCEPT Xbox.
The problem is that xbox needs a proprietary dongle. So the x comes with a dongle that has a switch that when you turn it on supports the xbox. But only the P works properly with the sidetone dial on the ps5. The regular none console one doesn't have a side tone dial I believe. The x if I remember correclty works on all 3 but like I said the side tone function might not work properly on ps5 (but everything else works as far as I'm aware) .. For me the sidetone is crucial. I hate not being able to hear myself. Because if I don't hear myself I get way too loud without realizing it.
Your body and skin naturally of oils so yes, OVERTIME it will yellow no matter how well you take care of it or clean it. White is a dumb color for headsets or controllers in my opinion. Unless you plan on replacing it frequently, it’s not worth it

@@badseedtech I explained in much greater detail in a reply on another comment complaining about sonar. The long and short is, 1. I own and use this headset 2. Sonar software does more annoying things than helpful things. 3. There are free software's out there that let you eq your audio without all the annoying things sonar does. Trust me, I tried to love it but it is just really poor software, and from what I've seen online many people agree.
@@lostforever773 Well, I can think of like five reasons off the top of my head, but the one that was annoying enough to delete the software despite still using their headset was that every time my computer was set to sleep/off the software would redirect my default mic to the headset, from my much better dedicated mic. This is very annoying when you always keep the headset mic muted bc its trash and you don't realize your team can't hear you until half way through a game. The funniest part is, one random update I ran fixed the problem and I was soo glad, until the VERY NEXT UPDATE reverted the software to its old behavior. hope this helps answer your question.
