@@PunisherXD- Difficulty also comes from lenght, timings(and other stuff) + how cancer a level is(too many things to say about difficulty so I made it short), Tartarus is still #1. Arcturus is #2. Change my mind, you can't.
After seeing the difference in lengths and comparing the ship parts, the more difficult ships (just from looking, I don’t have any good reason) I think belong to Arcturus and it’s clear which level has the harder waves. The difference is that Tartarus has many bursts of difficult parts where Arcturus is just a long hell of a level with little to no rests besides the transitions. So it’s hard to say which is harder overall. They may have similar difficulty hard parts, but Tartarus is longer yet also has more rest spots. But I really want a new top 1 anyways XD at least one with a custom song
Arcturus has a lot of rest spots, long transitions, in the mini wave there are helping portals that make some parts auto, there are some easy ship parts where you just gotta hold, but I think that the wave parts, the frame perfect jump, a few straightfly parts will make acturus top 2 or top 1, like the wave sections compared to tartarus are just insane.
actually the helping portals make it harder lmao arcturus is just a really helly evel which no one wants to beat but comparing arcturus to tartarus tartarus does have hard parts but it does have alote of rest points and dont get me wrong arcturus does have too but checking the difficulty of arcurus's parts its fair in difficulty of parts arturus wins but tartarus is long so its hard to decide but personally arturus is harder. this is comepletly my opinion.

It will stopped when firework verified firework is significant harder than tartarus coz longer length and frame perfect that harder tham tartarus frame perfect at some part but firwowrk well synced that makes this level easier than unnerfed slaughterhouse
dont forget that the decoration in arcturus makes the level a lot harder, blinding the player throughout some of the ship. I personally think arcturus is harder based on the decoration and blinding. I guess it all comes down to opinions so far. Still amazing that ultracaua got 44 just 6 days before completion!
It is hard to say which is harder from observing them once. Arcturus does appear to be harder overall because of the gaps being consistently very tight compared to Tartarus which has a few areas where the gaps become less tight. However, Tartarus does appear to be quite a bit longer, which could make it harder as a whole. This is just my opinion from watching the video once without pausing. I am also in no way good enough to even run through these levels in practice mode. Both of their difficulties are beyond my abilities in every way.
I did tartarus on practice mode and for me it should be #3 because The Golden is much harder with frame perfects robot timings and fast waves (did both on practice) and SWI is very tight and long . idk about arcturus My demonlist : #1 Arcturus #2 The Golden #3 SWI #4 Tartarus #5 Zodiac
As long as Arcturus is higher then zodiac on list then I’ll be happy. It deserves so much for how much effort it’s creators and verifiers put into it! (And am I the only person that LOVES the Arcturus song)
Arcturus is just bad. The only thing I like about the level is the very slight atmosphere it has, nothing else. The gameplay is extremely unnecessarily repetitive, the song is cringe, and the deco looks copy and pasted as heck.
welp actually the placement of arcturus depends on its victors opinion and overall look from demonlist staff, so far 2 people who tries to beat it and the official verifier said its top 1 soooo
Yeah you are right. It's the victors' opinion that count, and I think people who are good at ship will say it's not top 1, but people who are not really into ship gamemode will say it's top 1
It's so funny that many people are severely underrating Tartarus' difficulty, while it has the hardest and most awkward ship sections I've ever played. (I've also played some of the upcoming Top1s such as AoD and Firework)
Yes but the gameplay in arcturus is harder and u cant see. The ships are also very hard and many people say the ship parts in arcturus are harder than the ones is tartarus. ultracaua and two other people that try to beat arcturus said that arcturus is harder than tartarus. Its the list that will decide but i really want a new top 1 cause tartarus is a bad top 1

Tartarus has some varying gameplay in which would make it much more difficult to get memorized compared to Arc, but Arc seems to have much tighter sections
Arcturus might look easier than Tartarus in a majority of parts. But the hard parts in Arcturus are absolutely brutal. Keep in mind that it’s a difficult level to learn as well because of its decoration. I believe Arcturus is a top 1

The floating ball, the UFO and the spam with the orbs looks more difficult than arcturus but arcturus have a super difficult wave and a super difficult ship
Real question: why should Arcturus be considered a number one demon when it only uses like 4 portals so you just need to be good with like the ship and the wave. Plus in the level you can’t see anything Tartarus on the other hand uses more portals which kinda forces you to be good with most of the portals and is actually readable for the most part I feel like Arcturus should have more gameplay, not only a hard wave and ship to be considered number one
The ship gp in tartarus just looks alot harder than the gp in arcturus and it is longer but arcturus has some brutal cube and wave gameplay compared to tartarus aswell so idk, as much as I hate to say thing i think tartarus is harder
I have ran through both in practice mode, and while I'm no pro (my hardest demons are Acro and Supersonic, with good progress on ICDX and Cata), I can say that the wave in Arcturus is many times harder than any wave challenge I beat, and I can't say the same for the ships in Tartarus. I can't fully understand the difficulty of either, but because the waves and ships of Arcturus are so insane, and Tartarus is first half-heavy, I would say Arcturus is harder
well that's not completely true, but i do dislike the fact that the deco makes it harder to see what you're doing in arcturus. i've almost never liked it when levels do that
Arcturus is easier because the only FP jump is on the start, and the difficulty is consistent throughout the level. And the mini wave isn't FP as theres still gaps on the color of your wave. It's roughly the same as on Kenos. Tartarus is more shocking and confusing to play. Though consistent difficulty wise, Arcturus is harder. but Tartarus has more harder sections. also, the FP on Tartarus is located on the MIDDLE of the level which is the perfect ship like bruh. Yea Tartarus has trash gameplay which is why it's harder. What do you expect on a 1.9 level?
This is my top 5 hardest levels opinion!!!!! 1. The Golden the stupid timings... and the crazy wave. 2. Arcturus crazy wave and hard ships. 3. Tartarus only the curved ball is hard tbh. 4. Sonic wave Infinity crazy wave. 5. Zodiac it's just very long
I think its like how it was with bloodbath and sakupen hell, Bloodbath was a very long but pretty balanced out level, While Sakupen Hell was just a brutal like 40 seconds of hell. (Sakupen hell is harder than bloodbath btw) Therefore I think Arcturus deserves the #1 spot.
I think Arcturus is hard but also very short compared to Tartarus. I think if the levels were the same length then Arcturus would be the #1 hardest but since its shorter its probably a little easier to beat. I will still probably never beat either level.
I’d say Arcturus, it has the most extremely tight wave and ship parts. And also, in the wave parts, you can’t even see the yellow and blue portals in the wave part, so you’d just have to god damn guess. And mostly the thing that makes it harder is how fast it is, and how DARK it is. The only thing Tartarus has better is longer gameplay and more portals.
@@フィラーkeiAs Why ? When you play the level (even on practice mode) you know how hard it is because you are playing it . And my hardest is Deadlocked or DeCode (idk wchich is harder) so I can't play them on normal mode . Maybe I can do 2% ... On practice you can play full level and robot part on the golden has about 5 frame perfect jumps (spend about 100 att per jump on this part) and the hard parts (wave) on the golden feels harder than hard parts on tartarus (ship)
Honestly, the key difference between these two is length, tartarus is longer, but has more rest spots and easier timings compared to arcturus, which is shorter, but the only rest spots are the transitions. Another big factor is the song, which is non ng, so the level is gonna have a hard time getting rated

Similar to how Bloodbath reigned for an insanely long time Also Tartarus is visually a pretty good level! And something about the song being Clubstep is just funny to me ;)

It’s literally a nerfed 1.9 impossible level with horrible gameplay and an obnoxious song. Plus. Bloodbath was number 1 for around a year and a half, Tartarus was rated around early 2020. So it was also been top 1 for around a year and a half.

Similar situation to Sakupen Hell and Bloodbath, one is vastly longer but has some rest areas. Other one is constant hell with dumb aas hell wave parts

Very hard to tell which one is harder than the other, arcturus seems to have harder gameplay as there isn’t very much pauses, apart from the occasional transition, but Tartarus is longer, but the gameplay doesn’t seem as hard, whereas in Arcturus, the mini wave seems nearly impossible, and the ships seem a little tighter that Tartarus. And Tartarus also has some auto parts and Arcturus has just the transitions, the waves in Arcturus also look very precise and can very easily be messed up whilst playing.
My main concern is that if it isn't rated top 1, (IMO it should) then the community will devalue Ultracau's well earned achievement and see the level as a major disappointment. It happened with black blizzard, no reason it can't happen again.
Arcturus will never be rated and here’s why. It is actually only medium length of gameplay, around 20-30% of the entire level i just black screen to stretch it to a long level, Next There is only 1 medium length extreme, and it’s EXTREMELY well decorated.. Arcturus is not honestly 3. The song is not of new grounds, only 1 extreme has a song not on new grounds, and it was only because it was a really wanted level in the community 4. It’s more of a challenge tbh, gameplay sucks, almost all jumps are frame perfect, and it really doesn’t look like a level. So i highly doubt it will ever be rated Thanks you for reading my rant lmao Also because of the spike jumps being easier than tartarus, and how small it is, i actually think it’s top 2, since a few people have alr beat it in like 50-70k att

Arcturus cannot be called top 1, and it does not even reach top 3, although it is more difficult than Zodiac, but the length does not give it any chances for top 4
They would be tied and what surprises me the most is that arcturus is a not so long level and even so it beats tartarus if they had made arctarus long if or if it would be top 1
Arcturus is barely top 8 lmao. All of the difficulty is straigjt fly so if you're good at straight fly it's free. And the wave parts are free with some practice. But even considering that it's probably harder than tartarus because tartarus is barely insane demon difficulty, I've done it in practice mode in 0.3 attempts on multiple occasions. Sary never clear harder than both because Sary best player and Sary can't clear it.
