I'm hoping for his sake he can build on today's/yesterday's performance and have a long successful career at madrid and he doesn't end up going on loan several times before finding a home like odegaard. if you watch him closely, you will notice that he always raises his head up for a moment before passing the ball. lob, cross, whatever, he never passes the ball without checking his target first and hardly ever misses. that is simply amazing. it is as if he is making all the calculations in his head to pinpoint where to deliver the ball at a certain speed.

Arda Guler after forever finally made his Real Madrid debut and for the most parts of the game he did look a little rusty since he hasn’t played for months, he actually looked good during the game and that’s a fair assessment on him. He had some neat touches he hit the woodwork and he played well for the time that he was on the pitch and Real Madrid fans finally got a glimpse of what this kid can do. It was great that he started the game and performed and in the coming games it’s important for him to get minutes to build his fitness and get continuity because the prospect of seeing him on the field at the same time as Jude Bellingham Vinicius Junior Rodrygo and others look great and as talented as he is on this team he has to earn his minutes and prove to Carlo Ancelotti that he can sustain his fitness for a long period of time. Getting minutes is good for his development and his growth and he just has to avoid any further injuries at Real Madrid otherwise this just won’t work as he just played his first ever game for them today and I wonder how long he’ll stay fit as you cannot go from getting a game to back in Hospital FC.

Before today, I didn't regard his highlights showing his defence splitting passes but yesterday night, I saw it and I was like GREAT! We've got Ozil back. I made exact same comments while I was watching the game, unfortunately for me I was trying to explain it to my wife who doesn’t know much about football so people who understand the game knows exactly what you are saying and I can’t agree more with every word you mentioned in this video. Arda’s vision as a young player is way more advanced than most of the senior teammates in that squad. To understand that, we need to watch him play more games. When he plays more games with the actual first team players, then it will make the difference because in this game he couldn’t get the ball from his young teammates who are not in the same level as him. Like Nico Paz, who played more games with the team, doesn’t pass the ball back to Arda, instead he cuts inside and takes the shot. When you make a run like that, Modric would pass the ball to you so let’s be patient and see the magic happen. Thanks for the detailed analysis. Keep up the good work. 👏🙌
