My favourite Ardal moments are all the comments he made about other players' attempts in the studio, only to reveal his own attempt that was so much worse :)
I love Ardal's extremely specific yet witty remarks for things. Like when he said "They skulk around in the night like a Jazz Drummer trying to score heroin" for foxes
He is responsible for two of Taskmasters biggest mysteries: 1. Why he came out from the shower curtain without his trousers. 2. What he did in the kitchen for 15 minutes that ended up with him having glitter in his hair in the ''Show Off'' task.
You would think after this, they would know to run the cameras in the house even if doing a task outside or in the garage. But no! We have no footage of Dara opening the fridge with flippers on.
@@RickeGnool Oh i would never accuse him of cheating. I just want to watch him flail about the fridge with the flippers on! That would have been some great television.
Same with Katherine Parkinson in the IT Crowd. I think one of the many national services performed by Taskmaster is showing which actors playing famously thick and/or hopeless characters weren't really acting that hard.
@@shanghaiallie, in fairness some pretty intelligent people have also looked like complete idiots on Taskmaster at times, that’s what makes it so funny. The tasks are so random that it must be really hard to know what you’re expected to do and remember they film several tasks a day over several months so it is hard to switch the mindset from one task to another.
everyone's reaction to ardal walking out with his trousers off was incredible. Sophie's aww going from adoring to shock, Bridget touching his shoulder and making sure he hasn't completely lost it, Judi who is absolutely losing it, and to top it off Chris just going "my god I'm gonna die" at the end of it 😂
Ardal really nailed the drinking song,, well mostly anyway.. But of course.. "Jag är hungrig, Jag letar efter strömming, är du strömming?" has to be my favorite.. :D
The more I watched this series, the more I became convinced that 4 contestants were contacted through their agents to be on the show, and Ardal was kidnapped from his home
I forgot how much I loved, 'It's just the sound that blue makes.' I think his run left all of us much in the same mind as Greg; not so sure Dougal was a character.
My favourite Ardal moment was during the third high five task, when he predicted Judi would be first in the recording (which she absolutely was lol) and when questioned by Judi herself on studio he said it was because to him she was first amongst women 😂😂😂
When there are outside tasks they usually edit in an airplane flying over. The direction of some of them can make sense in relation to the London airports, but they also make them fly in directions that if they were to happen the would cause collisions with the normal airplane traffic.
This man is a gem ! From what I gather he is mainly known for his role in _Father Ted_ (which I didn't watch entirely) but each time I've seen him on panels shows he was incredibly funny. His Pyrenean walnut story on _Would I Lie to You ?_ was pure madness.
They need to have a Stand Up to Cancer special with all the fan favorites, not necessarily losers. We could enjoy it and it would support a good cause in the process. My pick would be Ardal O'Hanlon, Judi Love, Mike Wozniak, Joe Wilkinson, and Paul Chowdhry.
they should do a father ted comback where dougal becomes the new main preist taking teds place and his subordinate priest is actually really smart, with the right writing could be good
Taskmaster is an endless source of good giggles and serious Howling Laughter. The Best Medicine and should be taken in copious quantities to balance out any sadness that may be infecting your world right now. Laughing and Dancing, if we can all harness these powers perhaps we can make the world a whole lot less sad.
Wasn't sure about this season, i only know him as dougle (and thermoman) and didn't want that view ruined...i needn't have worried, he literally is dougle irl.
That shower curtain task made me really worry about Ardal‘s health. First I thought he was on something. Why does he think that looks somewhat like his neck? And why doesn’t he know what he was thinking? Didn’t he know what exactly the task was? It is still a mystery to me. But all in all. I really loved him on the show very much.
I don't get why everyone was so confused why Ardal didn't have pants on. Obviously he tried a bunch of random stuff behind the curtains and then the time ran out. But Sophie acted like he's gone senile with her aww's and the rest of it
