Wee Beastie is $80 before taxes in Canada but it's still a good price! I prefer the Ten but I love both. It's personal preference. I do enjoy the smoke in the Wee Beastie. It's a different smoke to me than the peat in the Ten! Ardbeg Ten is $110 in Canada in most provinces at our government liquor stores. But I do love the meaty flavours, chocolate, espresso in the Ardbeg Ten!!

Terrific comparison! For me I do clearly prefer the Ardbeg Ten over the Ardbeg Wee Beastie but I love a lot about both of them and the Wee Beastie is cheaper. Still I truly enjoy the Ten quite a bit more than the Ten. It's just personal preference! I always have both on my bar! Awesome video and I enjoyed it so much! Cheers! 🙂
Something about Islay, and to a lesser extent, peated whiskies in general, that makes age almost irrelevant to me. I’ve had 3-year-olds and 27-year-olds, and for whatever reason age doesn’t seem to have nearly as much effect on my preferences as I’d have expected. A 7-year Williamson (Laphroaig) IB is among my favorites ever.
It's so obvious which is which in a head to head, I didn't see the point. In a flight of three or more, I would do it blind, because with another sample it would get complicated.
@@whiskywhereabouts I agree! I can immediately tell which is which. There are very distinct flavor profiles. For me I actually get a more meaty taste and chocolate and espresso and lemon in the Ten!!
