Wow, this is a very nice project. I will experiment with it, so I can listen to my old antique radio of the 1930’s

the leds on the arduino lighing up might be due to self inductance, might want to design something to protect it in some cases. also gives you a reason to perhaps try out a multistage lc antenna like which they used for the early trans atlantic radio signals.

how do i connect the ferrite antenna ? (stupid question?)

Two wires between pin D3 and D11 plus optional capacitor between 10 to 100pF to improve the range. But I cannot give any advice about which coil of the ferrite antenna to use. Every antenna is different. You need to try and find out by yourself which winding and capacitor works best.
