Hello Mike, do you still have the schematic, the parts list and the program to run in the Arduino from this controller? Thank you so much !!

Hello. What kind of rotor or motor, this device can control? The device you sell comes complete? Just connect on to the system? What's the value?

Hello, I hope you are well, I need your help. I have a arduino, and all components to assemble the control, but I have problems connecting the tracking orbitron software and arduino, also have a rotor az / elevation, which works with an operating voltage of 24 volts ac. my idea is to follow a satellite automatically. using a satellite tracking software. I appreciate your help. greetings from Chile CE3VNA Paulo 73

Mike Thanks for the video ! I also decided to pick yourself azimuth rotator for your newly purchased Spiderbeam. Question to you on the screen ... What is the screen you use? OLED screen , or simply use the screen with white letters on a blue background , but blue light is strongly underestimated ? Sincerely , Nazim UA6WSH.

+Nazim Guseinov Any LCD will work, that depends more on your project than anything. The code can be adapted to fit any reasonable LCD screen. I used na OLED screen because that was my preference. YMMV.

+Mike Thompson I myself am a big fan of OLED screens, and also have ordered a screen for your rotator controller . Thank you.

I designed this PCB based on the needs of my Yaesu G-400 rotor, and had the PCB fabbed for me from OshPark.com I did not buy a kit. My PCB designs can be found at github.com/zryder94/YaesuK3NG

Mike . This is my question. I had a lightning strike on my yaesu sa800 a few years ago . the only thing the was hit was the rotor control. will this replace that without using the controller.? and how much will I be investing?
@AE0MT
@AE0MT 7 лет назад
The controller as shown in this video isn't intended on being a stand-alone replacement, but the controller I built to replace it would be. The 400 is an AC rotator, and fortunately your 800 is a DC rotator. All that is needed is a 20-24vdc power supply (old laptop power adapters work well for this) and an H-bridge. The potentiometer lines can easily be read by the microcontroller. Let me know if you need more info. Thanks.

Hi, do you share this project with us who are not in good relationship with coding :) Best regards, Slobodan YT1LOZ

Hi Mike, can you tell me (us) how you connected the Yaesu rotor? Can I just connect all in parallel? No problem for the switches of course but how about the Azimuth potentiometer? Please elaborate on how to connect your PCB to the Yaesu rotor. 73, PH0PPL - Peter

After carefully listening to you video... I come to the conclusion that the Azimuth potentiometer is no longer connected to your G-400RC, but instead it is directly connected to the Arduino (via your circuit board). Right?

The board in this video has the output relays in parallel with the 2 large switches on the stock controller. The potentiometer is not connected to the stock controller with this configuration, though one could make both work with a redesign of the circuit board. I was going for simplicity more than anything with this design.
