Hi Becky! It's never a bad idea to go back for some basics. Thanks for sharing, hope to see more of you on the channel.

If you’ve never used a microcontroller before the Arduino Uno is the best choice. The official Arduino kit I got came with a book and a bunch of sensors, LEDs, knobs, etc… The Uno is the worlds standard as a first board. 👍

Hi Becky Thank you for the video very educational…. You are a leader. My head is Not hurting with the barking dog….My head is having new ideas with that, I like to design and build a circuit that will have Arduino input a microphone to sensor the noise and output pins a relay to turn on and off a light red and green an teach the dog barking on green and no barking on red lights that means we are on air or recording. Thank to the barking. Also please bring your dog to camera to be with you, next video I love it thank you again

Hello Becky, thanksgiving for the explanation, is helpful, I will consider using Arduino in my next project. Shipper and easyest than Allen-Bradley Micrologix PLC. Congratulations...👍😉💪

Yep. At least you can still buy them unlike the raspberry pi

video chapters option, nice touch to quickly go back, the world is no longer only 5 volt as in the beginning stage of Arduino a decade ago, many electronics are now 3.3v only, an arduino kit includes only 5 volt devices. (no smoke from fried electronics) if the kit has 3.3 volt device(s) it will also include a level shifter (read the fine manual)

What software and hardware do you use to product the video with the various video feeds from external camera to desktop capture please?

Can I create a sequence that opens and closes a signal off and on by increasing percentages of 10%? As in it will open and close a signal 10 times “off/on” from a PWM input signal of 0-100%? I need this sequences to be performed from just one pin on the board, is that possible and what’s the smallest board that will do that for me?

This is more a promotion for dungarees than for Arduino. The UNO is obsolete junk. So is blink with delay. Corduroy overalls are killer though!

This video is for beginners and the UNO is still the best for this. Its OK to use delay() to start will, they can learn about millis() later on.

@@gedtoon6451 I let students start with the Microbit v2. Lot more fun for a starter, we use it as Arduino with c++. Advanced projects we move on to M4 Express or Teensy 4. Arduino Leonardo/MEGA have their niche at school. Leo is Uno done right, cheaper as well, and the MEGA is great for hacking into 16-32 bit bus hardware from the past.
