I had recently built a cooler and I had need of data logging with an arduino. SD card modules are not a great solution because they are running more code on the arduino and the SD cards corrupt easily. That is why I built this little tool to be able to quickly log data to a CSV file.

Nice bit of code! When logging data like this it's always good to have a time stamp on your data. Import the datetime library and add a date and time column to your csv file. I even start with a combined column with both date and time and I use it for graphs. The other useful thing I do is to add the date and time stamp to the output file automatically so that there's never any file name conflicts.
