Nice layout of the new controller, I'm already looking forward to the release of your code as I will probably adapt it to fit in my Marklin turntable project.
Awesome project! I am currently planning to build one, and in researching this you're the first that I came across with an auto reverser implemented. Awesome job!
@@orangelabengineering2923 thanks! 2 things about your implementation intrigue me the most, are you using an arduino nano every? And the autoreverser; Is it activated by the software based on the track selection and orientation, or is it sensor/short circuit based. And what kind of relais did you end up using for it?
Yes the new design uses an arduino nano clone. The autoreverser is activated by the software. The autorevers activates when the turntable it is 180 degrees away from the magnet used to activate the hall effect sensor. I used two 5V relays to do the switching.
I like what you have as the other ones that I have found just is not working. I am not interested in the newest control with LCD display but with the 12 push buttons. Really looking forward to you publishing what you have, both the .pla file for your stepper motor mount and code for the Arduino.
Hello, I'm very curious how the Arduino code is writen I do have a Fleischmann turntable and maybe I will change the hardware. Especially how to use the eprom to programm. I look forward to it... Greetings out of the Netherlands 🇳🇱
