I am getting back into skating. it's been a long long time since I touched a board. I hope it's enjoyable as it used to be. I decided to buy the CCS board, red. i couldn't find a deck with a logo that I liked. Plus I didn't want to promote a skateboard company that I know nothing about. So I wanted a logo-less board in either red or black. came across the red so I went with it. With black grip tape, it'll be black on red sexiness! thanks for the review

I’ve been buying from CCS since the early 90’s. Used to be able to do COD (Cash on Delivery). Order it and a couple weeks later UPS shows up with your stuff and then you pay with cash. Oh the ol days 😂

I wouldn't say _all_ decks chip the same necessarily. My Powel Peralta Flight deck doesn't really chip, despite it constantly landing upside down. But I have to admit I am not at the level yet where I would kick out during tricks from stairs etc. Honestly, a lot of times you don't need to kick out when a trick doesn't go well, a slight nudge is usually enough to not destroy ankles on a bad impact on your board. At least, that always looks like it to me, as people put so much force into kicking out. (Don't take this for me thinking you should do it differently, just perhaps with less force somehow?) Downside of the Flight decks is that it does razor tail perhaps a bit more than a thicker boards would. However, it doesn't lose pop. Still pops like fresh, always because of the carbon fiber. They're also lightweight, which is something I really appreciate being an older skater. So certain things _definitely_ require less effort. The other potential downside is how these Powel Peralta Flight decks have a fairly medium concave. So if you're into steep concave decks, you might not like the shape. (Also be sure to pick the shape that isn't tapered sharp, just pick the shape with the rounded nose and tail, those are better!). I would buy a Flight deck again if this one breaks or has such a razor tail it becomes a threat in and of itself.
