I own the corsair t3. I've tried many chairs before but this chair was the best for the price. Glad I didn't cash out $1000+ for a chair. Very comfortable chair that lumbar pillow is so soft and doesn't make my back uncomfortable. I'm surprised you like the leather over the cloth. As someone that came from pu leather chair the t3 cloth is soft and smooth, I like it way better for sitting than leather chairs now.
I’ve purchased both chairs , on first place i did buy the cooler master one but i had to returne it because of a detail in the costure, then i thought it a little bit and went for the corsair one, and i have to say that is much more confortable than the cooler master chair. The lumbar pillow really makes the difference as well as the cloth. Without mention that it is prettier and more minimalist.
You’re looking good there Rogue. My PC chair is an old wooden dinning room chair that I bought at Good Will for $2. That’s honestly good enough for me.
There is only one valid chair solution. A proper office chair in which one actually sit for hours. Healthy and comfortably. You don't want to f..k your back. So get an ergonomic chair.

La-Z-Boy Winston is heaven I prefer it over any and all other furniture when my back is on the fritz
Thank you for changing the intro! The other one was kind of a stock chime. Definitely like the new beat! Love Rogue continuing to review. If you could do a budget series like Budget Gaming Chair, Budget Gaming Mouse, and Budget Gaming Monitor definitely would watch! Other than that keep it up 👍
Thanks - this is so detailed and descriptive. I appreciate you consider pros and cons for both chairs and acknowledge we are all different (e.g. the examples with Tech and your daughter). This was awesome - keep it up🙌
Hey Rogue and Tech for my chair I use a electric lazyboy that I modified by putting wheels on it, I changed the wheels twice I started with one set of wheels that I connected with U bolts that didn't work to good did for a short time, I then noticed it had nuts welded to the bottom that you could screw risers into, you all know the ones most have them under the fridge to level it. The second pair I found had single wheel caster made from a teflon rubber composite material, like the wheels on blades, the bolt fit through the hole that was in the top of the bracket, you can find these wheels at Bunnings Hardware here in Australia, removed the wheel really simple 12mm socket put the bolt through the hole, used a long series 14mm socket locked it into place put the wheel back on and bobs your uncle chair that can take up to well any that you all are. I now have a very comfortable computer chair that at the push of a button lays back and supports my legs and feet with the leg support, who can say they wouldn't like that. I'll post picks of my chair on Techs Discord channel.
So why not look at used Herman Miller Aeron 400-525$ depending on size and the options, and comfortable for hours, but as always your mileage may vary.
You can find used herman miller and steelcase leap chairs for cheaper actually, and many of them are still in great condition with warranties still attached.
I don't understand why she points out Corsair being made of cloth as a negative thing. Lot of us prefer this material instead of leather, because I don't wanna get sticky and super hot on summer.
For god sake,is it really that ultra complicated to find an actual good chair without compromises for reasonable price? that compromise obtrusion went too far, companies are out of their mind. When they go bankrupt they will be crying a lot.
While it can be easy to judge and even write off gaming chairs, it's cool that you take the time to build and evaluate so many of these. This lets us know that while they may share that racing seat form factor, they do differ in terms of ease of assembly, build quality, ergonomics, and overall comfort. Thanks for the work you do!
They suck (for me I hate them). I sat on other chairs that's more comfortable like this corsair t3. I've owned the aeron and it hurt my lower back and terrible neck support. The embody on the other hand I didn't like the comfort. My uncle's friend has it and he told me he likes it. I respect his opinion but for me I like my t3 way better.
@@azizieazaman9591 yeah. My corsair t3 is way more comfortable yet its way more cheaper. I've tried many $1000+ chairs im glad I didn't buy any of them instead i waited 1+ years until I saw t3 in store and tried it and loved it then I bought it, best purchase for the price.
That really depends, I tried several ergonomic chairs and gaming chairs and I had back pain on every ergonomic chair who were like 1200 € and I had no problem on my brother's gaming chair who's at 400 €
@duuude TM Please dude you don't know what you're talking about. I own the corsair t3 and I find it more comfortable than most office chairs. Though not all gaming chairs are comfortable only my corsair t3 that I tested in showroom and then I bought it because it was comfortable and I've been looking for a comfortable chair for a year now.
Hello Rogue! First of all, let me tell you great video, I'm happy to see you more often in your own videos. Now a few points about the chairs you reviewed, I have been researching chairs because I'm considering to change mine and this two have been in my scope, so I wanted to charify some points to enrich this already good review. The cooler mastes is not real leather, as the Cooler Master site says in their material secction "The breathable PU provides maximum confort..." and PU is "PU leather is an artificial leather material made with split leather (that’s the fibrous part of the hide left over from making genuine leather) which has been coated with polyurethane (hence the name “PU”), and then applied to the surface of the furniture." they almose put "leather traces" in there just to call it leather and confuse the buyer, (I'm talking about the material, not that Cooler Master is trying to cheat costumers) PU is more of a leather like coating on top of the chair. Most of the "gaming" chairs are made of this, the problem with PU is that after some time 2 or 3 years the coat peles off revealing a fabric base, this process is acelerated with the natural skin oils and the sweat pH of the user. So even if this "feels" more premium this chairs have and expire date. In the other hand the Corsair is fabric and that material will keep their cualities for more time. Also in the minute 9 I think you mixed the chairs? The one that had the instalation problem was the Cooler Master not the Corsair. Thanks for the review! Personally I think I will buy a Corsair to try it out, I think the price is more reasonable for the quality they give and it will last for more time in good condition.
@@TechDeals Hello Rogue, I have 2 questions: Which "gaming chair" is the best quality/confort/money in your opinion (in a reasonable budget 200-600$AUD range). Do you know PCmeal (australia) website(not ebay), is it safe to order from them ? Thank you so muh for your videos and help !
@@roguestormtv6722 I see, yes usually that detail gets lost when it's so repetitive. And as I have seen almost all the chairs branded as gamer are made with PU leather and is a shame because if you use it with as your only chair for some time it will end up peeling that finish coat and it looks so bad, I would be interested in Tech opinion about the comfort of the Corsair chair if he uses it with some regularity.
@@jeip3823 I would go with Ewin or Autofull right now, the AK Racing are good, but more pricey. Ewin has a 30% off code (in RogueTech news show video description) you can use, the Champion Ewin chair has the most padding so far and can be had for under $200 using the code. I have not had an experience with PCmeal website.
I bought the Cooler-Master. Assembly difficulty was moderate but I was once an automotive technician, water treatment plant technician and engineering aide, etc. After 5 months the gas lift has failed and also the chair seat stuffing separated in the seat. After jumping through a few hoops CMI Tech replaced both at their cost with very fast shipping. With out the lumbar support which is too big the chair is comfortable. Also if you're very tall, over 6" 1", you might want to buy a longer gas lift before you assemble the chair.
They look super comfy. From my experience, the construction process can speak to the longevity of the chair. Thank you Rogue for covering all the finer points of both chairs.
keep doin the chair reviews, actually much needed. Thank you!!!! hopefully once you get a bigger library of reviews u can do a top 5 or someting, I assume these chairs are pretty much coming from the same factories so its jus design/price
Secret lab should be looked at. Another thing that would be neat is a 1yr later review. As to how the chair holds up. Alot of the initial "comfortable" chairs breakdown way faster
I've had a Titan Secret Lab for a little over a year. It still feels brand new. The cushion technology is incredible. But, I had to add Aloudy brand ergonomic memory foam arm rest cushions(search on Amazon...$18 for a pair) and have a fleece blanket(Kohls) that I throw over it too...Perfect and I spend a lot of hours on it too...
Hi Tech and Rogue!I love ur videos,i think i found you last year and you actually helped me pick and build my first PC..yay! So i have a quick question i wanna ask you bc i am kinda lost here. So recently i've noticed that my GPU (the RTX 2080 OC by Gigabyte) has been sagging quite a bit... D: Im trying to fix this by looking at gpu brackets in the european amazon sites...but i cant choose!Could you please help me or give me advice on what to do about this problem i have? Thanks!
Ewin or Autofull. Ewin has a 30% code you can find in the Rogue Tech News Show Video Description. I do like the AK Racing but they are more pricey and you have to patient to wait for the deal to come around.
Rogue, have you ever tried a "Vertagear Chair"? It was fairly easy to set up. I have the one with the mesh. It's the best chair I've ever purchased. I got the mesh unit because I live in Central Texas and rarely use any air conditioner in my home. (I prefer fresh air from open windows over air conditioning). The problem with most cloth/vinyl/leather chairs is that they soak up the sweat and get all grody. The mesh keeps your back cool and dry. This Vertagear chair is also very comfortable with gobs of individual adjustments to it. I would add that I also have a whole shed full of other chairs that have failed.
I have a whole storage shed of "Office Chairs". They are extremely uncomfortable for long gaming sessions, but worst of all, they don't hold up. The casters break, the legs break, the back comes apart, the cloth or whatever material they have gets frayed, and the arms, (even those that are cushioned) are an arm/elbow-killer.
@@jawnTem Then that is just bad quality office chairs. Just as there are bad quality regarding every thing in this world. There aren't just one brand and quality of office chairs, your comment seems quite stupid tbh.
Half of the things you said about the Corsair are false. Looks like money came from Cooler Master... Corsair t3 rush is just awesome. People look reviews out there, you'll see what people and media say. I have it, you won't regret.
The coolermaster is not leather it's pleather. You've positioned it like 'wow what a deal you're getting leather for c. $200' which isn't really representing
@@TechDeals I know that's the case, but another viewer might not. When you phrase it like "this one is cloth and this one is leather" the clear implication was that the latter is a more premium offering - when in reality pleather and cloth tend to be priced pretty similarly across the market (eg Secretlab, GTOmega It's not a huge deal, but it's pretty misleading for a channel that's supposed to be offering guidance
Good video. I've been considering getting one of these gaming chairs I just don't know quite yet if it's something I actually really NEED since I usually play games sitting on a couch anyway with a controller. IF anyone reading this has any pros and cons why someone like me would want to either get or not get a chair like this, any replies would be appreciated.
I live in a small room with an office chair, I play Forza on a wheel setup but my strength pushes me away from the desk and I don't want to buy a frame, any good chairs with handbrakes?
Hi! Plese, which chair would you recomand me, as I really want a nice lumbar support chair, not with a pillow ? The thing is I am 1m74 and 70Kg and Titan or Noble chair Hero are meant for bigger/taller people ? thanks a lot
Maybe to get some help with asambling COOLER MASTER one COOLER MASTER R1 is great gaming chair only IF you are not taller than 180cm, you should mention that in video :)
Are all Gaming chair the same? Well, all Gaming Racing chair are all the same. There are some gaming chair with mesh and comfort focus like office chair
That is not leather, that’s polyurethane fake leather which is significantly cheaper per yard than thick quality upholstery fabric. This explains the material/price discrepancy you pointed out.
Solid review. I have degenerate disc disease in my L area. A comfy chair, and a strong core is the foundation of pain management. I can clearly stop watching the review after the discussion about back pain. Thank you, I’ll finish the review though.
If that's the case I'd strongly recommend either the Steelcase leap or Herman Miller Aeron chair. You can find them used for under 300-400 bucks. Those chairs will not only provide comfort, but they will also ensure proper back alignment as they have parts that line up with your spine and move with your back.
I would love to see some reviews of chairs that have foot rests. I have a few years old office chair that uses a folding foot rest design that could use replacing. All the ones I can find are slide out foot rests and most look like they are too short for my height. Great Video Rouge!
Bad review?? Corsair is quite better i think. There is no color in coler master because the color is always Black, change only a small part in chairs...R1 is cheaper, Corsair is too expensive...
Gaming chairs are kind of silly. Especially the race car shape. You're not driving a car and moving around so that hugging shape is really pointless. Do yourself a favor if you're really going to spend $200 + on a chair: Buy a high-end ergonomic office chair instead like an Aeron Classic. Even a used Aeron Classic is going to be worth the money and last you a long time. Doesn't even have to be that one, I'm sure there are other ergonomic high end chairs worth the money that are all much better than what 'gaming chairs' are. Just avoid anything marketed as 'gaming', it's almost never going to be worth it.
Guys I got a question: Im buyin a new pc so I was thinking of selling my old one, but it has a really bad gpu. I was thinking of buying a used rx 580 or rx 480 and selling it like that, but my cpu: xeon w3565 would have a 41% bottlenack. Now,would that only limit the gpu usage or would it actually be a problem in games like lag etc..? Or should I just sell it with the Quadro 4000 that it already hase? I was thinking a bit better gaming gpu would make more games playable and make it an easier sell for me.
I have a new chair that I’m already thinking of replacing since it makes noises every time I move. (And wakes my baby). Does the Corsair make any noise ?
It is quiet, but TBH I would recommend the Ewin chairs, way more comfortable and better quality plus you get 30% off code to use!! See one of the RogueTech News Show Videos in the video description for the link and code.
Well if you came and visit us during our Rogue Tech News Show we do live each Thursday you would know it is *Australian*!! Stop by and say hi if you can on our next show!!!
I don't find chair video reviews interesting, even gaming chairs, but I was curious what Tech Deals has to say about it. For me a gaming chair seems like the kind of thing that I would buy simply, like one that's available in the shop, depending on my budget and if online for it to have positive written reviews from other buyers
Use a chair a small accountant firm put out as rubbish. little frayed on front sides of seat, else all is good. Needed a cushion for my lower back is all. Can sit upright quite easily, trick evolution gave me!
The cooler master R1 is maybe the worst option around, everybody knows that, it really looks like CM pay her for this ridiculous and false comparision, t3 rush is maybe one of the best price/quality chairs
Personally I like the chair to be relatively hard and somewhat uncomfortable. It reminds one to stand up every now and then and not sit comfortable for hours. But that's just me I guess..
Well I have no issue with Corsair memory I have had ungodly amounts of problems with their headsets and keyboards in the past even there mice don't stand up. I would not buy a chair from them the quality it's just not there.
It’s not real leather though it’s cheap fake leather? Your acting like it’s genuine Italian leather and will last forever. It’s kinda annoying when people make videos and don’t go into more detail and comparison.
This chair sucks ! I mean its very good but after 2 weeks of using it the cushion under your butt will get the shape of your butt kind of bends and when you sit on it you can feel your butt touching the metal surface underneath so thats a bad design it should have more cushion or maybe added wood under the cushion so you do not touch the metal bracket !
All these so called gaming chairs are just overpriced Chinese junk. I have thrown away two already efter getting back problems and gotten what you also should: a proper office chair. Can't afford one? Buy a used one it will still be a million times better than any of the gaming chairs. They are just a bad, amateurish design.
I like the idea of the video but i don't like the idea of a gaming chair xD i recommend for everyone to get a 25$ office chair that's gonna be the same anyway.
any chair costing more than 150 is just ridiculous. wish i could just buy the chair from my bmw to use on my pc. probably even racing seats made of carbon are less expensive than this shit, and probably you can get a actual roll royce seat for less than this plastic overpriced garbage
@@IJoeAceJRI Yeah...Ok... So it's only Europeans that use KG?. I would think that they also have a big audience over the world 😊👍 And hey I did ask nicely 😉
@@IJoeAceJRI I have ask. Are you answering on behalf of Tech Deals?. I'm not forcing anyone or pushing anyone to add the metric to their videos. It was just a simple question ☺️👍
Thx god for this Topic, most Chairs work great for young and light Persons. But for Older 110KG Guys like me, the most are useless. Thx for laying also an Eye on max. Load. But if i see such small thin upholstery, I guess after 2 Hours my Ass will touch the ground and I begin to get uncomfortable. U could Buy this Game chairs in HK or SZ for 30 - 40 € this Company charge 300 € and more why they don't sell a good Pad-Quality and a better Quality at all and fitted also for older people like me. Franky I bought the last 10 Years 10 -12 Chairs Gamers- Office chairs with orthopedic things, cheap and expensive ones after 3 Month the are all rubbish, and ii have ti use my Orthopedic Seat-Pad additional to the Chairs. Why is no one able to sell a great Chair for Older and Heayer Persons for a fair amount of money. And please excuse my bad English. Thx for ur work, Kind regards from Germany
