I still use my athenas. Got a 9k photon hover with double athena and it absolutely slaps. I'll send it next time I'm on if you'd like

I don't have Athenas, but they feel strong when I fight them. You need to catch them reloading, and your gravy. I remember before they got nerfed, they were INSANE

Depends mostly on your playstyle, pushing alot but not getting very close then mg's are the best, ramming then shotgun or flamethrowers
