Why pretend? Barca played good against bayern and everyone was confident that they will defeat inter easily .then the international break arrived and they lost araujo and kounde who were Xavi's best cbs and then bellarin was injured forceing Xavi to use roberto as rb again.
Still a work in progress, but obviously an improved team. One of the title contenders in Spain again, unlike last season. Very, very unlucky in UCL. Outplayed Bayern at the Allianz - as every neutral pundit admitted - and fell to 10 minutes of madness (as well as Lewandowski having one of the worst nights in his career). Inter sat back for 75% of the game at the San Siro and scored from a half-chance outside the box - they (Inter) had a total xG of 0.18 which tells you everything. Would have won the home leg as well, but Pique decided to forget how to defend, leading to a 3-3 draw instead of the win. With the way Barcelona were playing - especially before the many injuries during the international break - they would have comfortably qualified from another UCL group. They just happened to get one with Bayern and Inter...
You summed it up very very well. People are totally oblivious to the fact that 3 of their starting Back line is injured right now. They are having a Liverpool 20/21 kind of injury crisis. They're insanely unlucky as well. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that they could be sitting on the top of their UCL group if not for factors which Xavi can't control. He cannot be blamed that the VAR robbed them of a Crucial goal or the fact that Pique dropped a 1/10 performance when the team needed him the absolute most.
@@zumair8138 doesn’t matter, besides injuries their midfield is shit, pedri is the only one driving forward with purpose, Gavi is just a good recycler of the ball and having raphina and dembele does not work and gives no service to lewa. Shit tactics
nah i don’t think so they did just have no good center backs bc they were out. the last two times they played including this one barca outplayed real and that’s facts. i don’t support any of them but it’s sad how real fans are so brainwashed
without even watching the video i can instantly answer no, they’re not. they’ll fall adrift in la liga soon and they’ll drop into the europa league again. i cannot wait to see the financial repercussions of them not progressing in the champions league.
Can you explain to me what they are please? Would love to know, personally I don’t see it. Barcelona have been unlucky in the champions league so far, dominated all the games in terms of chance quality, but somehow only got 4 points so I can’t blame anyone except unluckiness. Laporte has come in and built a very good squad very quick as well.
Barcelona and Atletico are not what they used to be but the Mid Table clubs are better than even, they always compete well in Europa and Conference league.
It's like when madrid lost ronaldo and zidane. They hired multiple coaches that failed, bad in champions league, lost la liga. They had one bad year and then they made their way back up the next season
Barcelona fans saying they lost the clásico because they lost their two best CB’s like they didn’t suck in the champions league with them anyway, the defense isn’t the only problem bozos 😂
@@valenciafantv there's a difference between dominating the games and winning though, like if you dominate a game you lose 2-0 it doesn't change the end result of the match does it?
Not really. Koeman's football is more passive in the build-up and he was over-reliant on Messi's creativity. We can see that at the start of last season when Messi and Griezmann already left and he relied on crosses for Luuk De Jong to try to head them in. His Barca side would've been annihilated at Munich in the first half. I'm not sure how people fail to realise that the absence of both Kounde and Araujo (and instead, playing an ageing Pique and Busquets together) after the international break messed up Xavi's system. Before the international break, Barca were playing really well, besides the 1st La Liga match and the 2nd half of the match at Allianz Arena. Xavi's football relies on taking high risks, and that in turn requires defenders who can not only play the ball from the back, but also be quick and precise in recovery. That's why in the match against Inter at the Camp Now, Barca lost mainly due to individual errors of Pique and Busquets. Also, at San Siro, part of the reason why Barca couldn't break Inter down was due to the absence of the key defenders; the replacements were not moving the ball forward and distributing well.
What a rubbish video. Better quality of shots than real in last 5 years? 😂 We won 5 UCL last decade 😂😂 You however played 2 Europa league seasons 😂 What a joke
calling la liga weak is the most laughable thing coming from a page that is mainly about the english farmers league that is ran by city lol... embarrassing lack of education on the leagues
Barca are historically spectacular bottlers. Be it Europe or League. They just need the right amount of pressure applied and you can literally see eyes popping out and bleeding from their noses.
False. I remember Real Madrid applying pressure out of their arse during pep Rijkaard and Enrique era yet failing spectacularly most of the time. Instead it was Madrid which actually used to pop off ever since I started watching. The bottlejobs actually started under Valverde when Barcelona lost their ability to Manevoure through opposition press effectively due to lack of replacements for Xavi and Iniesta. That has been the problem ever since.
@@solanut yes. Barcas bottling period began under Valverde. Because their midfield couldn't resist press as well as before. Before that they always gave Real Madrid comfortable defeat after another and its not like Real weren't trying, they tried and failed out of their arse. Atleast this is what i have seen. And i started watching around the time when Ronaldinho arrived. 2004 I think.
@@donnydenzel2288 well from Ronaldinho joined in 2003 and yeah you do have a point. Madrid bottled the 2004 which led to Valencia winning the league and then went on 3 year trophyless run. From 2004 to 2010 I think Madrid only got past the round of 16 once and that was in 2004. Those who call Madrid bottlers would probably have started watching football around this period of time. However Barcelona post the Cruyff dream team till Guardiola were serial bottlers which were masked by them having the best player in the world be it Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Figo and Ronaldinho. That's what was happening just before Messi left as well. So they had a 9 year period of beasting where they won 3 UCL titles, 6 league titles and 6 Spanish cups. Now in Spanish culture, some see it as Barcelona going back to the old ways of being an almost team
I mean you guys could have waited after the el clasico to put it out cus their league form is a fraud n they showed how capable they are against big teams losing to all of them
I really don’t understand the stigma everyone has against Barca. The likes of juve and athletico have dropped into the europa league yet there’s no coverage. You lot say it’s our fault for being so cocky but who wouldn’t back their team? We are 1st in the league and we have played only who was infront of us we can’t change that. Granted we are out the champions league basically but you’re ignorant and just plain stupid if you think that was 100% our fault. We get put in arguably one of the hardest groups in years, refs are against us in 2 games, pique just doesn’t need to be mentioned, large amounts of injuries to our 2 best cbs. This can look like complaining but if it was any other team everyone would be so sympathetic
Because Barca have so many obnoxious fans. Almost as bad as Liverpool fans. You’re facing a struggling Inter team and Bayern didn’t have the best start either. But Barca lost anyways. It’s your own fault you’re in EL. And ofc. The judges are always against you 😅😂
@@barcafanboyanalysts960 cause liverpool didn’t expect a treble after spending over 100 million in the summer and mortgaging their future at the same time. Your club did, and just shows how much you bought the la porta lies
Why would they need to change the rules? Messi had to go because Barcelona's salary cap was -200 million. This summer, through sensible transfer deals and wage/contract renegotiations, Barcelona have gained a +800 million increase in their salary cap, now sitting at over +600 million. Barcelona can afford Messi as things are. The question is if Messi wants to return. I would also point out he's not Barcelona's main target: Bernardo Silva is.
@@economicerudite4924 La Liga changed the financial rules just this summer to help Barca. They would certainly make them even more laxxed so they could sign Messi on a bumper contract.
