Hi Case. Nice review. I have never used any of the Bauer tools I have heard that they are pretty good for the price. I agree with you that the impact is my most used tool. You can’t beat the weight to power ratio for driving screws. I have a couple different sizes for different applications. Super handy. I liked hearing what you had to say about the Bauer line. Take care!

I have Bauter cordless drills , Impact , leaf blower , tire inflator , mini chainsaw , hedge clippers . And corded portaband , impact driver , 1/2 inch drill . All work great no failures . I've had 2 out of 7 batteries fail , fail to charge , exchanged them. All things considered I like the Baurer tools . Money well spent

I don't know if I said it before but I have 3 of the Bauer reciprocating saws the 2 handed brushed one, the 2 handed brushless one and the 1 handed brushless one that you have right there and honestly I love all of them and from what my research says 2 handed ones are kind of better for like trimming trees and stuff like branches for when you need to use 2 hands and have plenty of space and they have longer strokes that can help but like the 1-handed smaller one is really good for plumbers indoors or in tighter spaces where they're cutting pipes and stuff using just 1 hand with shorter strokes in comparison but for me all 3 of the ones that I have work great and I'm extremely happy with all of them and they're some of the best Bauer 20v tools that they've put out in my view.

I have the Bauer 7 1/4 brushless circ saw. It performs really well but eats up battery like crazy
@Gitiffan

I am building my Bauer line slowly by waiting for them to have the Bauer starter kit special each time. Buy the battery and charger starter kit, get a free tool. So far I got the random orbit sander ($24.99 value) and the 7-1/4 inch circular saw ($89.99 value). $180 in batteries and chargers and two free tools priced at $115 so far for me. But that $200 combo kit is very tempting to buy right off the bat. I am still holding out for that kit to go on sale. Now what to do when I have 7+ batteries and chargers lying around the garage, lol.

I have a lot of Bauer tools, I like the chain saw and pole saw, the bigger air inflator shuts down before I get the tire pumped up, buy the cheaper one and put a gumband around the trigger so you don't have to stay bent over.the circ saw is lite and easy to use and the drills are good.the 18 gauge brad nailer works good.Never had a battery fail yet, I started buying Bauer 20 volt tools when they first came out. Now I have most of them along with a bunch of batteries. In my opinion the 5 amp batteries are all you need, so I would not buy the 8 amp. I knew better than to buy that weed Wacker because I am spoiled with my 56 volt Ego trimmer.

Bauer is the best bang for the buck especially when you get a deal, buy a battery and charger for 89.bucks and get a free tool. That makes it the best deal that can't be beat!
@BuildALotAcres

@Charliemmafan
@Charliemmafan 2 месяца назад
@@BuildALotAcres And it's even a better deal if you just buy just a battery and get a free tool because like for me I already have a lot of the batteries and chargers both and especially when it comes to the chargers I really don't need more because I actually have 5 chargers right now but I have even more than that in batteries but I can use a few more batteries than the chargers so I'm waiting for another deal where if you buy a battery and get a free tool because I did the other one a couple of times where if you buy a battery and a charger you get a free tool and that's a super cool deal but there's only so many chargers you need really and batteries as well but I think I can use a couple more batteries potentially but I don't really want any more chargers unless I get the 1 that takes 6 batteries at once and charges them sequentially 1 at a time because I don't have that charger yet but it doesnt charge each battery that fast though at only like 2 amps I believe which is weird but I have 2 of the slow 1.7 amp chargers, 2 of the faster 3.0 amp chargers and 1 of the double 4.0 amp one that charges even faster like you showed in the video and that 1 is the best I think because it charges faster plus it charges 2 batteries at the same exact time and you can also charge something with USB like you said but if I get another charger it would be the 1 that holds 6 batteries maybe just because I don't have it yet but I don't have to get it because it's not really that necessary but I might get it at some point in time just because I don't have that 1 yet and I would like to get 1 12ah Bauer battery just because I don't have that super sized 1 yet just to have 1 of them only because I have a bunch of the smaller ones but great video man keep them coming, just to tell you the better trimmer line that I got on Amazon for the Bauer 20v weed trimmer is Eventronic String Trimmer Line Square Weed Eater String Line, Weed Wacker String (550FT .065") And it's only $10 also so if you buy it let me know how you like it because for me honestly without exaggerating I think it cuts like 50% better and even when it's turning it does make more noise which you might not like but it honestly feels like it has quite a bit more power and not nearly as much as the 80 V Atlas or maybe not even as much as the 40 V Atlas but it feels like it might be like 30 V or something like that and it was super cheap but because this orange one is square I think that helps it cut the weeds better compared to the blue round trimmer line so I might actually buy some type of Square trimmer line for the Atlas 80v weed trimmer soon I just have to figure out which one is good in that thickness because the Atlas 80 V is .095 just like the Atlas 40 V is .080 and the Bsuer 20 V is .065 and I do have a gas trimmer but I haven't used it in a while but you can use .095 for that 1 or .105 but if you buy this trimmer line for the Bauer let me know how you like it because I don't think you will be disappointed at all and you might even tell me that it was possibly the best $10 that you've spent in a while but I'll talk to you later!
@Charliemmafan

Just to tell you the $25 tire inflator from Bauer I think is pretty awesome and super cheap especially if you're already in the Bauer line and you have the batteries and chargers like we both have but it works great to air up car tires and stuff and the only thing I would say is that after you air up 1 tire just give it like a couple minutes to cool down because sometimes it does feel pretty hot after each tire but it works so good and it's so much easier than using an air compressor so I would definitely recommend the small little tire inflator thing and I haven't tried any of the other Bauer air compressors yet I only have the $25 little tire inflated thing but I think it's pretty awesome, I'm not sure how precise the gauge is like if it tells you that you're at 30 pounds if it's exactly 30 pounds or not so you should definitely use some other tire gauge thing that you trust but it definitely airs up tires because I've aired up tires that were completely flat to whatever they're supposed to be and it works great and you can air up several tires before you have to change batteries or charge your battery so you should definitely pick up one as soon as possible and if you can get it 20% off that's awesome but even if you don't get a deal on it it's super cheap anyways!

The Bauer 20v regular chainsaw is pretty cool too because I have it and use it just like I have and use the pole saw like you have and I'm really surprised how good it actually cuts because 20v isn't really that much but that chainsaw is so incredibly light and obviously it's not really meant to cut branches far away like the pole saw but if you're up close or if you have a branch on the ground I would definitely recommend buying the chainsaw for that and it works really good in my opinion but it does eat a lot of the bar and chain oil though just like the pole saw does because you have to constantly put more in before each time you use it or I do anyways and I think some might even drip out but it's worth it not to having to worry about gas or all the noise from gas chainsaws and stuff but if and when you get the regular Bauer chainsaw let everyone know how you like it unless you already have it then don't worry about what I'm saying but keep up with the videos man I appreciate them.

I have a couple Bauer corded tools and they work great for my intended purpose. However, I'm committed to Milwaukee since I use CC rewards to buy Home Depot gift cards and use those to expand the "Red" collection. I love the battery convenience, but I still use corded 4" grinders for some things, especially when "welding"😂.

I been beating the snot out of my bauer tools for years, I still have the first drill driver which I got I wanna say 6-7 years ago, and I'm not doing any little sissy projects with it I regularly use it to wire wheel and paint stripper wheel to work on my old Chevy, I bog it down, run it for 15 20 min, and I've dropped it many times from the top of My 6 foot ladder onto concrete and it will not die. Bauer gets my vote anytime over anything. The only tool I returned just because it legit sucked ass was the cordless heat gun. But what do you expect that should be a corded tool no matter what

Regarding that wheel on the string trimmer if you put it the opposite direction that you put it basically like in line with your trimmer it'll work better I think because then like if you're cutting weeds in front of you you can put it down on the ground and just kind of push it forward while you're holding the trigger basically and then the wheel actually works pretty good but I haven't tried to put it any other way really like to use as an edge or whatever but if you put it basically perpendicular to the direction you have it I think you might actually like the wheel because the way you have it it's set up where you would basically swing your mower left and right when I think it will work better if you put it down on the wheel and kind of push it forward and pull it toward you and then push it forward again etc. like that with the wheel that way but you can just try it and see if it works better that way for you because it works better for me that way.

I agree about the weed trimmer. I like all of my Bauer tools, but that thing is disappointing. I use it for some edging and it works fine for that. But for edging, etc, I go to the ego trimmer I have. The Atlas is probably pretty good also, but I've never tried it.

The 12ah battery is already out now from Bauer and it's been out for maybe a couple of weeks and I was thinking of getting it when they just had the 20% off for ITC members over the 4th of July weekend but I didn't get it then but I'm hoping in the near future they'll have a deal where if you buy that battery you can get a good tool for free that will be worth more than the 20% off discount basically but I'm really interested in seeing how people like the 12ah battery but I haven't seen anyone do any videos on it yet because it just came out not too long ago but hopefully soon someone will put some videos out on it but I'm thinking it might not even fit on all the tools because it's so big but on other tools like all the saws and stuff I think it will work great but we'll see.

I do like the Bauer 20 V string trimmer but it's not great for cutting like a huge amount of weeds or really thick weeds for sure because the 20 V just isn't powerful enough so if somebody wants a really powerful electric string trimmer buy the Atlas 80 V from Harbor freight also or instead to have a lot more power because I have that one also but the string line itself is really hard to change on that trimmer for some reason compared to the Bauer one that's super easy but I did buy like an orange square shaped trimmer line that I put on my Bauer trimmer and it feels like I have at least about 50% more power it's weird because the square line seems like it cuts better cause of the edges compared to the skinny round blue one that harbor freight recommends so you could try that and see how much of a boost in power you get or cutting ability plus it was cheap also but like I said if you really want a more powerful electric string trimmer you should get the Atlas 80v one instead or in conjunction!
