The problem with boxes is the fact that the number of brawler they added is too big getting like 20 brawlers with boxes was hard in the beggining but now with 76 +(angelo and melodie) is just imposible without spending like 4 years
But now we have starr road so it should be way easier to unlock them and maybe they could make it that apart from coins and power points you can also get credits from boxes
Yall’s gambling addiction is crazy, like I understand the nostalgia but bringing back an rng element to progression is stupid. It took me 2-3 years to get my account maxed until gears got released and I quit cause there was so much rng but the new progression system actually awards playing the game

Boxes are trash i had only 1 legendary brawler while my friends had 3 or more, now i have all brawlers (expect charlie and angelo) ALSO, my friends where going crazy with that "CaN i OpEn OnE mEgA bOx?" while i was trying to save it for new brawlers and when i oppened 11 Mega Boxes that took me 1 month to get guess what? 5,5,5,5,5,5,5,5,5,5,5 and 5 also my friend oppening 1 Mega Box: OmG i GoT 8 iTeMs In MeGa BoX!!!! -10000000000000000000/10 Boxes +1000000000000000000/10 Star Drops and Credits
@@dimitrispolizopoulos i understand you but its not as fun as it used to be to get new brawler because before it was a surprise and its rare but now its guaranteed so it removes all fun from getting new brawlers
Yup I don't like boxes but the only bad thing happened in the remove boxes update was that when you join and you are new to brawl stars, you get tons of rewards in trophy road and if you were only 10k+ trophies you would get only max 80 credits per reward and a few coins now they put starr drops but that isn't enough you get a legendary starr drop every 10k after 10k trophies and a mythic starr drop after every 5k
Boxes had that hyped-up feeling, but the progression you get from the new system is much better Not to mention that Legendary Starr Drops gives me more of an adrenaline rush than boxes, so...
The reason starr drops are better than boxes is just because there is also the credits, masteries and everything. If you simply replace boxes with starr drops KEEPING EVERYTHING ELSE then boxes are better because it's garanteed progression
I honestly think they should bring back brawl boxes with the cost of credits just like in CN server. This would stop conflict from the people who want to bring it back and the one who wants to keep the credit system.

I don’t miss boxes but I do think the Starr road needs a rework, basically….. let me Choose what brawler I want to unlock, don’t force me to unlock 2 legendaries before I can unlock Byron, you should be able to choose your desired brawler not wait 10 months to reach the back of the Starr road
@@Naldinho456Man I love it when I don't get any choice in what brawlers OR what gadgets and star powers I use. It's so much fun and I have a wonderful time never getting a star power for a brawler I want and instead Belle's grounded star power, so much fun

Keep the credit system, and just switch the “starr drops” back to brawl boxes, where they give you coins and power points and have chances to give you bling, gems, star powers, gadgets, hyper charges, skins, and brawlers, with megaboxes having a higher chance of giving you jackpots (legendary), big boxes being a middle ground (epic/mythic), and regulars being low odds (super rare and rare)
Before they removed boxes I had every brawler and almost every star power and I only bought a few battle passes. I got a surprising amount of stuff from the boxes even the basic ones
@@Standwithpalestine757 1st off: I dont like starr drops however they are better progression than boxes were and since we have credits to unlock brawlers starr drops arent too bad. 2nd off: you're* 3rd off: make an actual argument instead off trying to say you're weird and then spelling you're wrong.

The thing with starr drops is that they were added for some rng so players could get a feeling like getting a 6+ items remaining on a mega box. And boxes were removed because they basically were gambling, and now, you can very often get lots of starr drops for gems, essentially putting us back in square 1 that the removal of boxes were supposed to solve
idk abt y’all but I’ve played the Chinese version and i feel it’s pretty ok bc it FEELS like a 30 smth chance to get like a hc, new brawler, etc but ig the pp and coins are kinda kak also maybe like legendaries
I never got legendary from boxes only a single mythic and ive been playing since 2019, and i got 3 legendary and much more brawler, hyper, star power from stardrops
they should add them but 100% identical then before and no more trash loot i got like no brawler for 20 boxes or they can give credits because the starr road idea is good
I remember getting Amber, Spike and most of my Mythic Brawlers on small boxes before the update... but still thinking the Starr drops and the Starr road are better than the boxes, boxes never gave you 4 chances to get something better, boxes never gave you skins, pins or sprays- "0h, but they just can-" no, and that's something that starr drops or other features can or could do without the introduction of boxes, or that isn't a solid idea. Also, the resources from them are pretty mediocre compared to starr drops, they are bad compared with the current free pass, and it gets worse if you start comparing the boxes with the Brawl pass and Brawl pass+. If the boxes came back, probably they are not going to be a luck of factor, they will have other purpose. And lastly, we have an incredible amount of brawler rn (80 brawlers), the boxes will seem unfair on this days if they
I played since 2019 summer and had some break and I started playing again in 2021 and than when they removed boxes still I didn’t dropped a legendary but with the new system (I was back again in November of 2023) I have now 9 legendaries with Draco in half of the year 😊
I feel like the game is better now, progression is half luck based it shouldnt be 90% luck based, also it was very annoying when you got a new brawler you had to open boxes to be able to lvl it
i think they should bring back the boxes but also keep the starr road and make it so that you if you unlock the current brawler you just get the remaining credits. so essentialy if they just added the starr road and kept the boxes it would be a lot more fun.
When boxes got removed i was already had all brawlers but the problem is not brawlers in my opinion about boxes because the boxes gives good amount of coins and coin is a very big problem nowadays because of hypercharges and the luck factor isn’t good with star drops I remember when i got spike there wasn’t even brawl pass and I was very very happy for hatching spike but now when kit released I opened a legendary star drop and got kit and I was like oh cool new legendary ;-;
Stardrop is a good replacement for boxes, i know its frustrating to get rares but when u get a legendary it feels hella good, my most recent legend star drop gave me 1 epic 2 mythic 1 149 gem skin, 2 79 gems skin and a sp (i much rather get brawlers and skins than hypercharge or sp bc thats what i like the most about this game)
Legendary don't feel like legendaries anymore I mean it should be an option for players who have all brawlers to get boxes back since progression wise starr drops are better
I think I gained faster progression or unlock brawler faster when brawl box was a thing lol. Probably just my feeling but now, it feels so slow for progression
The amount of coins is like 8000 from the free pass and then there is no more source of coin other than the rare star drops who give like 50 coins each like how am i supposed to get coins
The main reason i quit brawl stars was the boxes played for 2 year unlocked every brawlers but didn't got any legendaries though. Ngl my first legendary was after i started playing again in 3 years later
For f2p players, the new progression system is horrible. You have to play for 3 months to get a single legendary brawler, the only better thing now is early progression (0 - 2k trophies)
