@@royjohnson465 Yes, I agree. Making a good salary will definitely make it easier to live in Canada. I currently live in Vancouver and the minimum living wage here I would say would be at least 80,000 a year which is not really realistic for most people unfortunately

You are probably thinking of every possible way to find a solution to the problem including moving away from Vancouver to another place. Maybe move to a cheaper very small town somewhere.

The housing crisis is also because of foreign investors coming in and buying houses, 1/5th of all houses across almost the entirety of Canada are owned by investors who are not using them. 1/5th of houses are not up for sale, and they are used only as speculative assets, it's a house, so this doesn't count as the house being used.

A very large number of people have lost everything.... and not just material as well as their jobs, careers, marriages, families and lives unfortunately.
