Im tellin'' ya, chromebooks are taking over the game. With a high-end chromebook like the samsung chromebook Fiesta Red, or the acer chromebook spin 714, HP Dragonfly pro, etc. You'll get everything you need done and then some.
Wow, another reason for me to go Chromebook/Chromebox, now we can connect to their online work suite offline! Awesome, and the fact that I don't ever game on any of my computers is even better. I'm really liking Chromebooks/boxes. I'm even getting use to the photo simple editing because that all I do, simple photo touch ups. =)
Windows 11 is a disaster, im still holding on to my Win10 until it stops next year with the support. Linux will become the future without a doubt, and chromebooks are the most Linux beginner-friendly devices it seems
I have a CB plus. Acer CB514-3ht. It's good. Great for daily use mainly on line. Great to run android apps for mapping and navigation. And linux apps can be used without great difficulty. I have been using Chromebooks for about 5 years. CB plus brings price down to similar to windows machnes of similar hardware. Great choice if you do not need windows-only apps.
One of the most annoying videos I've ever seen. The constant changing of the viewing angle is really annoying. People don't want to see you and your constant hand movements, they want to see the Chromebook, closer and in more detail. OMG.
After 11 minutes I gave up. I have never seen something presented with such a twisted body! All this from the side, horrible. The Apple Watch is more in focus than the device itself. I don't know who recorded the video but it's horrible.
I'm a senior and this is so much better for me! Can I attach an external drive and work on documents on it and safe it back on to the drive? I don't use the cloud, that's why I'm asking.
Yes, I believe that you can work on documents from an external drive, but I would recommend a windows or Mac based laptop if you don’t want to work on the cloud
Thanks for this video, I am watching it from my current Chromebook. And I know all the limitation and frustrations you are talking about first hand, I wanted to know if there were an upgrade I could have that would allow me to stay in the Chrome OS environment. This Chromebook was a secondery laptop (I had a pretty powerful work laptop with Microsoft suite) and did the job of browsing (badly) and watching videos on RU-vid. Thanks to your advice, I will look away. I really need a basic laptop (Like a Chromebook) that can run the microsoft suite as I would like to start my job search, what would you recommend? I do not do gaming of video editing. It would have been nice to know if the Chromebook is compatible with AI, chat GPT and all that...
